Thought we were looking for someone to play any position across the front three surely he doesn't meet that criteria.

More likely allow Conte to switch to 352 which is a system he used much of his managerial career with Eriksen in the most attacking spot of the three.

Would also allow us to sell Lucas and Berg and only bring in one attacker as we wouldn’t need so many strikers/wingers.

Paris and london are as well

Must be more to do with the club and it’s fans ….. lukaku refers to this every time a journalist gets him away from the chavs
Milan, and the Lakes to the North (Orta-Varese-Maggiore-Como-Garda) are simply stunning. Food, wine, culture, weather (four proper seasons) are unbeatable. I’m a Londoner by birth but if I could live anywhere else it would be there.

Edit: and there’s the coffee. Someone once told me the reason Italians don’t travel is that they can’t get a proper cup of espresso overseas.

Why are Chelsea agreeing to this?!?!

Insane! :dierno:

Chelsea grossly over paid Inter circa £100m for Lukaku a year ago.

Lukaku at Chelsea has been a bit of a flop, but no PL club is going to pay much for him, most of european clubs don't have much money, but Inter happy to take him back although they have no money, and Lukaku keen to go back to Inter.

Chelsea have to write off most of what they've paid - given its a 5 year deal they signed him for even a loan deal should be £20m plus his wages, but Inter cannot pay that.

So Chelsea are losing their shirt in this deal, Inter paying high wages (although rumour is taking a wage cut to allow the deal to go through), but Lukaku did well for them before and they intend to pair him with Dybala (signing on a free but high wages) to create a lethal strike force which will placate Inter fans as they need to sell other players

If the ITK Twitter accounts are saying that Eriksen to spurs is a done deal, I can only assume that Eriksen is actually moving to Nepal where he intends to live as a goat

Eriksen coming free should help our other transfers, yes he will have a signing on fee but still.

Perisic - free
Forster - free
Eriksen - free if it happens

That allows us to save the money for defence and attack

Am I missing something? Inter are paying 10m for the season loan plus potentially more

Are they paying all his wages also

Not why are chavs agreeing to this why the fuck are Inter offering this … that’s madness

Hakimi situ sounds dodgy too....

- Sold to PSG for £60m
- Like Lukaku, he wants out after 1 season to go back to where he came from.
- Deal now rumoured to be £40m + Skriniar even though they were valuing Skriniar at 70m euro (£60m)

It’s not even close at the moment.

Ajax in the last 15 years have Vertonghen, Alderweireld, de Ligt, Frenkie de jong, Eriksen, van de Beek, Vermaelen, Dest, Mazraoui, Gravenberch, Klaassen, Kluivert…

Chelsea have Gilmour, Gallagher, Hudson-Odoi, Mount, Loftis-Cheek, Reece James, Chalobah, Abraham, van Aanholt..

Chelsea’s academy is great and probably best in uk but Ajax not only beats it in recent history but has been churning out quality talent for 50 years.

Also not by simply buying up some of the best young talent

Agree re last 50 years and also agree Vert and Toby are levels above but for sheer volume, Chelsea’s academy is incredible. You’ve left out Lamptey, Rice, Tomori, Ake and Jason Candy amongst others
