I'd talked myself into wanting Richarlison more, yet I can't help but want this instead simply to fuck Woolwich over.

Hakimi situ sounds dodgy too....

- Sold to PSG for £60m
- Like Lukaku, he wants out after 1 season to go back to where he came from.
- Deal now rumoured to be £40m + Skriniar even though they were valuing Skriniar at 70m euro (£60m)
He’s fucking class. I would be ok with just him coming in i think for this window…. Take stock on CB’s/attackers in the next window

Four in, all ahead of pre season starting - focus energy on shifting Wanks, Royal or Doherty, Sess, Rodon and Berg and go big in Jan. could line up something like:
Lloris
Romero Dier Davies
Hakimi Biss Skipp Perisic
Kulu Kane Son

Plus some quality on the bench. That’s a great side

Agree re last 50 years and also agree Vert and Toby are levels above but for sheer volume, Chelsea’s academy is incredible. You’ve left out Lamptey, Rice, Tomori, Ake and Jason Candy amongst others
Hmmm… Rice was released at 14 by Chelsea. Is that a compliment to the academy? Yes and no I guess. Like saying Woolwich are responsible for Kane. Dodgy ground.

Chelsea rival Ajax for players playing in the top 5 leagues. But if we’re talking, top class players for champions league teams or super clubs then Ajax are ahead.

Vert, Toby, Eriksen, de Ligt, de Jong, Gravenberch… this is top class talent in remarkable numbers wanted by best teams in the world… that’s not the same as Tomori or Lamptey.

This Hakimi to Inter story is total nonsense in every way- there is 0% chance Inter can afford him. They can barely afford Lukaku on loan.
Well if Inter cant get him then i know a club that might be interested if he wants out. Think theres a good case of splurging our budget on maybe 2 really game changing top class players and making do elsewhere. Perhaps a couple of cheaper deals like Ndicka pads it out.

These Jesus links just smack of the Woolwich PR team trying to score a win on social media, making it out as if Tottenham actually wanted him but he chose them lot over us. Bet you anything the rumoured spurs interest tip-offs are coming from their camp.

Was thinking the same. They are still smarting after Bissouma went to us and fucked their summer.

Everyone of their signings is going to be oh look we beat Spurs to the punch even if they sign a random from the conference.

He won’t leave PSG, I really don’t think we should get our hopes up on Hakimi.
He’s one of their best players, and they’re minted- no reason to sell.

Both Jesus and Richarlison are quality premier league players and I’d be thrilled to sign either. Both fit well.

The Goons will likely sign one of them, but the difference is we’re signing them as a 3rd or 4th option whereas they’re signing them as a first.

I don’t think so.
I think we are interested in Jesus, but our first choice attacker is likely to be Richarlison.

Jesus may choose Woolwich for the same reason he wants to leave City- guaranteed starting spot and CF.
