Inter are a huge club. They were my first love and they have had enormous players throughout their history and won a LOT.

People here sometimes act surprised that players love inter or like spurs are a bigger club because now we have more money but since we last won a trophy they have won… 3 league titles, 3 Italian cups, 1 champions league, and the fifa club World Cup. And reached a Europa league final.

They’ve won as much in 14 years as we’ve won since 1980. I’m not having a go at us but you can’t even compare the two clubs.
And if there's a city made for a millionaire lifestyle it is Milan.

If we add Eriksen, Spence, LCB and FW it will feel a bit underwhelming that our outlay will only be around £130-150m given we're likely to receive a good £60-100m in sales. Would like to see us break the bank on 3-4 players to really put us in contention.

Richarlison, Hakimi, Torres and Bremer type of thing.

I think our outlay is going to be capped at 150 ish and the financing was put in place to allow us to operate before sales were made rather than on top of any sales money tbh

"Modern football fans". Good one, mate.

All I'm saying is that this is supposedly THE summer where we have everything - Conte, CL footy and the funds to spend big. After years of everyone being desperate for us to spend big, spending a net £50-80m does seem a bit underwhelming, yes, even if some of the players brought in are good fits (Perisic, Forster etc.).

For me, Spence will leave our RWB quality short of a title winning side and the CB situation seems to be getting slightly perilous with our main targets dropping out one by one.

On what basis is Hincapie higher rated? Ndicka was Bundesliga team of the season this year and Hincapie was not.
Just word of mouth/internet chatter. He was apparently very highly rated, Ndicka didn't seem to get a lot of attention till late in the season.

Why are you obsessed with net spend rather than whether we’ve dramatically improved our squad?

All the signs are positive - we are literally in some sort of weird dream space of being linked to amazing players who will improve our starting XI and bench with likely 7 new players coming in and nobody important leaving .

This is as good as it gets buddy.

I’d far prefer Sterling to go to Chavs.

If he went to Woolwich, he’d actually improve them. Chavs, in contrast, have a plethora of options and their general shit show of a status means he might fail to make an impact.

I like Sterling. Frustrating player, but he’s good.

Who is the source? No blue tick
Here you go...

Isn't it good to spend less and improve the team as opposed to spending more than improving the team, would you be happier if the players we bought in was 50% more than what they're worth now?
