If he had rejected us, then why would all reliable journalists still be saying that he's undecided?
Unless he's specifically rejected us but not chosen new destination, which seems unlikely.

I think for some reason, Conte and Paratici have pulled the plug on this. Possibly because Conte's training sessions are known to be brutal cardio, and they're not confident of putting him through that with an ICD after speaking to medical specialists?
Maybe United are willing to pay him 230k per week. Or Eriksen just doesn't want to tread old ground and is interested in a fresher challenge. I wouldn't be too worried about it, club seems to have some idea what they're at this summer.

You don't spend £4bn on Chelsea to then be prudent. Get real.
They did not spend £4bn it was just over £2bn then there is money put into escrow for infrastructure improvements. The fact is Chelsea books are a mess and have been used a money laundering scheme for the last 20 years.

The new ownership has the problem that their is going to be two or three key parties involved and the largest amount comes from an investment firm. They are going to take most the summer to work out what deals to do and struggle with the sheer money and complexity of football transfers so they are going to fumble a fair few deals.

This is why I do not understand getting rid of Bruce Buck and their Director of Football. I can see Tuchel getting very frustrated with what is happening.

Abrahmovic never cared what happened to Chelsea all he cared about was his legacy. So I am not even sure whether the clauses his negotiators put in the sale are valid.

I couldn’t care less if we get Eriksen. But if he chooses United over Brentford it shows his mentality isn’t any different than it was when he left years ago.

Could also be that Eriksen is requesting a salary/contract that Paratici and Conte are not willing to match.

That's possible- and United do tend to throw money at situations.
But he is still considering Brentford according to Romano, which seems unlikely if 2 weeks ago Spurs pulled out due to financial concerns.

Yeah fair, we seem to have a plan. Maybe we're prioritising younger signings such as Paqueta. Surprised we haven't look at all at Milenkovic Savic with this £150m warchest.

I think chavs should be really weary about FFP, with Barca going after city and psg. Those 3 are the ones pouring shitloads of unearned income into their club’s creating hyper inflation within the game. Chelsea , of the 3, would probably be the most vulnerable given the £1.7B loan.
chavs missing CL next year, Even if it allowed scum in, would be a true blessing .
rats are now jumping ship.
BTW anyone from Chavs ever reference FFP during RA’s time?
They are the frog in the saucepan being brought to the boil.

or we could just keep Gil and see what he can do.

Kane, Richarlson, Son, Kulusevski, Lucas and Gil is decent competition tbf.
Dejan has said in interviews that he sees himself transitioning to a more central role as he gets older, or at least that was what he saw himself doing when he was in Italy. And he worked some with Pirlo about that when Pirlo was his coach at Juve.

Could be an option, but probably in the long term.

These wild theories are pointless.

Yesterday Raphinha was looking likely to go Barcelona, woolwich fans were all "phew bullet dodged" "bigger fish to fry " etc etc.
Today it's reported he is close to signing for Woowlich and they are all "what a statement that is" " what a window" " chose us over Spurs".
Man they are one special breed of people..

He wouldn't have initially been a target if that were the case.

Spurs fans are self deprecating and humorous; Woolwich fans on social media are either angry or completely delusional.
