Why do people think Richarlison is anymore physical than the likes of Son or Kulu?
He almost dies every single time he ever gets touched.
He's 1cm or, for us old timers, less than half an inch taller than Son, if it's his height that makes you think he's "physical"

I admit I haven't watched every game he's played, but when I have seen him, he goes down quicker than £10 hoe
He is more physical than Son. I’m not saying he is better as he isn’t. But Son goes down easy and doesn’t really battle in the air. Richarlison also goes down easy but he gets stuck in too. And good work rate

If these prices are true then Levy should demand 40m for Bergwijn - at least.

Man Utd in Antony blow as Ajax demand £69m and want £52m for Martinez and Timber

Man Utd in Antony transfer blow as Ajax hold out on £69m and demand up to £52m for each of Martinez and Timber

MANCHESTER UNITED have been dealt a triple transfer blow by Ajax, according to reports.
That is because the Dutch champions are holding out for a whopping £69million for winger Antony.

Plus they want up to £52m each for defenders Lisandro Martinez and Jurrien Timber.

According to De Telegraaf reporter Mike Verweij via Twitter account TheEuropeanLad, the massive price tag means the trio could all end up staying in Amsterdam this summer.

Erik ten Hag is desperate to bolster his Red Devils squad after taking over this summer.

And he planned to raid his former employers by luring some of their top talent to Old Trafford.

The club closed in a £40m deal for Antony, who is said to be desperate to be reunited with Ten Hag.

However, there appears to have been a sudden urge from Ajax to keep hold of their attacking star - or pocket an extra £29m.

The Brazilian, 22, had an outstanding last season with 12 goals and creating ten assists in 33 games in all competitions for the Eredivisie winners.

Meanwhile, Martinez and Timber are both potential targets to bolster United's leaky defence.

But with the pair now set to cost in excess of £100m combined, the United hierarchy may be forced to look elsewhere.

The Red Devils, who finished sixth last season, want to make five signings before the transfer window closes.

Barcelona ace Frenkie de Jong is an option in midfield, with "direct contact" made between the clubs.

CEO Richard Arnold told fans the Red Devils were doing "everything possible" to get a deal over the line.

Barca want around £74m for the former Ajax man - roughly the same as they paid for him in 2019.

It's quite obvious to me that Conte wants players that will improve the first team, not squad players.

We moved very quickly to sign 2 first team starters, and a very good backup keeper.

We tried to get a starting CB (Bastoni) but he didn't want to move, so no blame on anyone at the club.

There isn't many available, and affordable players that will improve upon Son, Kane, Kulu.

Our CM is sorted so maybe an attacking CM, which will change formation to 352, making a forward signing even less of a priority.

Which leaves only the defence to look at.
A LCB and RWB possibly.
RWB is not a huge priority either, hence our trying (and playing hardball) to get Spence.

All other players we are linked with will, possibly, improve the squad but not the 1st team.
So we're, quite rightly, taking our time and trying to get it right.
Plus we need to start shifting some players.
Too much sense here!

Ajax wanting 50M++++ plus for all their players and play tight fisted twunty victims when buying, i hope Levy stays firm and gets then some on the deal

On a side note, if it does go through, I seriously hope he does well there. Good lad deserves to have game time which clearly won't happen here next season. Defo think he can do a job for them.

Come home from work, have a scroll through the thread...fucking pages, we must have signed someone. Instead all I learnt was that Modric is skinny, but not skinny, strong, but not strong, but strong.

And you are all not cunts. But definitely all cunts.

SIGN A FUCKING PLAYER LEVY! I MEAN ANOTHER ONE!

I'm not saying Conte wants to sell or keep him, As a manager or owner you would always say they are in your plans & sign a new contract as it keeps the player on board and keeps their value up
you wouldn't say a player is unless or needs to go as that devalues his price and until he is sold you may have to use him
Agree - but think the primary reason for the deal is because he’s a great talent

Care to explain why?

He scored 8 goals for Tottenham. In cca 3 years. 8 fucking goals.

I don’t get the love for him? Because he scored at Leicester away? Yeah it was more than great. But 40M??

Haller scored 34 goals for Ajax, 11 in CL and got sold for 35M.
He has good fundamentals basically. Good first touch, decent speed, dribbling, fairly tough, and his final pass is OK too. He just has a really bad shot.

He seemed to finally fix his shooting too.
