Ah, I think he's the type who could chip in with anywhere from 10-20 goals in all comps. Rotation for each of the front three spots, he'd be a good signing. Think maybe we underrate the improvement Conte will get from him as well.

Raphina is the better player, and gives you a genuine selection headache every week. I'd be happy with either, edging toward Raphina + a striker like Kalajdzic/Brereton.. preferably de Ketelaere/Gouiri but maybe unrealistic..
raphinha is a no brainer

the amount of goals and chances he creates in that shit leeds side with bamfoord up front

and he is explosive and tricky

i like the idea of him and deki on the right

Submit a proposal?

What does that even fucking mean?

Is that before or after the "weighing up" bit? And what about "preparing", "putting together" and just plain old fashioning "considering".

Is a proposal sort of an informal bid? Or more like a "swoop"?

Fucking no-good hipsters, the lot of htem.
I guess you spend a few days talking to Conte and other people on the club deciding which player you want to go all in on. You maintain contact with agents and people at the selling club etc. to get a read in the wage, whether the player is interested, whether the club is willing to sell, what fee they think the club is likely to except, what terms of payment they're likely to accept... I don't imagine Leeds just get an email out of the blue with a surprise bid from Levy.

Eriksen wanting to start every game and the wages he probably wants makes it very understandable why we didn’t go for him.

Not really fussed at all.

He played well at Brentford, and in the NL games (that i saw) but he isn't the player he was back in his early days for us, and I would much sooner use that money and put towards a really good CB or striker positions that we absolutely must fill with quality.

If raphina can only play RW, he doesn’t make sense. Deki and Lucas will be there and neither consistently played a different position last year.

If raphina can cover LW (or somehow RWB) it makes more sense. I doubt RWB considering Conte was not willing to try anyone out there last year that wasn’t a defender.

Luc won't necessarily be, and certainly not next season.

When you see a player of his quality and we have the funding then go get. We need to look to the future as well as the present.

if lucas is rotating with deki then i would feel deki would get overplayed

we need two good rw's

both witth different abilities

raphinha offers that

we cried about lack of pace up there against the bus parkers

Why argue whether we should get Richarlison or Raphinha. Both are needed. As Bergwijn is leaving there will be only Moura to back up the front three. With this many games there will be injuries.

(Its’s not my money so spend it like crazy)

Jonathan David seems to have gone quiet. He scored 16 goals in all competitions before Xmas (this season) but after Xmas, he's just scored 1 goal.
Since he joined Lille, in 2020, he's been hyped as a future *star*...Mainly a CF he can also play out wide.

Raphina is the only one that Woolwich have been linked with that would bother me.

The issue for us is that he can't play as a number 9, and Conte's priority is someone who can lead the line when Harry isn't starting. Richarlison on the other hand is by far the best link we've had as a credible Kane back up.

Anyone good in the number 9 role, tends to be a specialist, and unable to play wide. So those guys don't want to come and play second fiddle. Richarlison can get good minutes centrally and wide. We won't do better for a Kane back up.
