I would say that starment signing would be someone who would surely improve us right away and be established player. I feel like some want to see us just spending as much money as possible. Which seems weird wish..
He's shown he's got the goods in the Bundesliga. Not to say he can't do it elsewhere, but 80m for him is still a big gamble.

Agreed. I would still love Gvardiol here but not for 80m. I’m sure we could get him for something less.

No chance. If De Jong goes, Barca has made it clear that they will go for Bernardo Silva to replace him. The only way Raphinha ends at Barcelona is if Dembele goes, and with each passing day his chances of staying grow exponentially. It's Woolwich, Spurs or Chelsea for Raphinha.

80M for Gvardiol? No chance. If that would be the case, Conte would go mental for Bastoni. It's either going to be Pau Torres or Lenglet (and we focus on other areas of the pitch) for that LCB.
