Yeah. I really hope both Winks and Moura move on. Tryers but both have served their purpose with us now. They're mid level prem players and both would get in the Everton team and improve with regular minutes. I'd still rather Raphinha than Richarlison but if Moura is off as well as Bergwijn we should be trying to get both.
Raphinha scored 11 goals last season, 6 goals in his first season, 65 million we are being quoted, it's risky if you ask me.

I dont think he'll cost £65m. Reckon it'll end up being around £55m with maybe some add ons. He would be our playmaker and if he can score 11 in a dismal Leeds side i reckon we'd be looking at a few more with us. Works hard, prem experience, players like that dont come cheap.

That's one season though, people have been saying the same thing about Zaha for years. I'm not saying he won't be good for us but is he a much bigger step up from Moura?

100%. He has a football brain for a start which Moura just doesnt have. After his first full season Mouras premier league numbers for goals and assists are abysmal. We missed a trick not signing Zaha in 2016 because we thought £30m was too much then ended up paying that for Sissoko.

Spending £80m on a CB to make a statement, is like starting your race car build by slapping a high performance clutch on a standard car. It's a good clutch, and you can build around it. But in the current setup, you would barely notice It's there.

The difference between a high performance clutch and top, 20 year old CB, is that you can buy a clutch any day, from anywhere. And it'll only last a few years in a race car.

Anyway, I suspect we're not rushing out and just buying all the players straight away because we haven't let any first teamers go yet.
We've got 5 forwards so no space for Rich/Raph
We've got 5+ CBs so no space for a new one
It's partly about seeing how much we can bring in to supplement the "warchest" but also need to make sure we're not left just giving players away at the end of the window.

Also, I'm watching my kid swim at the moment and can hear 2 or 3 gooners talking at the other end of the room. "It's the hope the kills you" was just heard.

I call bullshit on that. Richarlison is a mug and won’t improve us near enough. Some here are saying £60m for him? That’s fucking mad. He is a self centred ass that will completely fuck the mentality that Conte is trying to build. I don’t believe Conte wants him. If I’m wrong I will admit my mistake. But at the moment I just don’t see it. Made up ITK crap like most of it. Perisic and Bissouma happened out of the blue and under the radar. This drag on Richarlison shit is rubbish and so is he. That’s my opinion whether others agree or not

What you think Levy is gonna go behind Conte's back and put £60m down on a player he doesn't want, do you know how dumb that sounds?

You're in denial, the quicker you accept it the better for you...

You should’ve just watched your kid swim instead of writing this :pochshock:

I don't think Moura will leave. He's already said he wants to stay for the final year of his contract because it might be his last chance to play in the Champions League. Although, I doubt he'll get much game time tbh.

Im no sure he’ll have that much say in the matter…as you say, he has one year left on his contract with the club having an option to extend for another year…he doesnt feature much, doesnt change games when he does, he’s 30 in August…the reality is, is that with him and Bergy not being in the clubs plans one way or the other, if we can involve him in a deal, it makes so much sense…

I don't think Lucas is going anywhere. He is happy to be a squad member, is popular in the dressing room, Conte won't mind at all if he hangs around one more year.

He doesn't have to leave if he doesn't want to, though.

Spurs are said to be after another Inter player, Hakan Çalhanoğlu... and we all know that this will end up with the player saying he does not want to leave Inter :D

Probably bollocks but he’s a good player. Always liked him.
