Not sure about that from Murphy. It does poss a question though, both Eriksen and Fernandes are not strong defensively, I think they would be good going forward with both on the pitch but United could also fold like a house of cards unless they have 1-2 really dominate midfielders behind them.

We’ve moved on from Eriksen he’s in the past the future is looking exciting .
Felt like our cooled interest was expextations management once we realised what United were prepared to pay (plus a system that suits Eriksen's style more). Throw in that difficult last year at the club and we were maybe never getting him back.
My guess is that Conte didn't want him. End of.
