And, Spence is the signing that's probably in most need of a full pre-season under Conte. The fitness requirements of a WB are huge, learning Conte's "patterns", how to be a PL professional, and team cohesion for a 21 year old are all important for Djed to absorb in Korea. Hopefully, this gets done quickly.
Maybe Spurs & Barca simply disagree about the fee in that case, and to get this deal done Spurs "forget" about the buy-back clause and just get him on loan...
