Never gonna happen but Barella Bissouma midfield would be absolute top tier. Barella has the kind of flair and shooting ability to create valuable chances and score goals.

He of course has the workrate to play in 2 as well.

That kind of profile makes much more sense than spending big a CAM that doesn't fit our primary formation.

Agree with Fabio, would like a buy back clause as well.

Tottenham have agreed a deal with AC Milan to sell Japhet Tanganga for around £17m, but the deal has yet to get the green-light from Daniel Levy.

A report from Gazzetta dello Sport over this weekend claims a fee has been agreed between Spurs and Milan to see Tanganga move to Italy, although there remains sticking points in the deal.

The Daily Mail has added further context to the deal today, adding that while the fee is agreed, the initial move will be a loan one for Tanganga. However, Fabio Paratici has insisted on an obligation to buy from Milan, rather than just an option.

But there remains sticking points, namely over the terms of the deal and payment structure. Milan have already had troubles getting deals over the line this summer, and saw Newcastle United pinch Sven Botman when a move for the Dutch defender seemed all but done.

For the ‘amazing‘ Tanganga, a move to Milan gives him a fresh start and a chance to get his career going again. He’ll be hoping to follow in the footsteps of fellow young Englishman Fikayo Tomori, who has excelled in Italy since making the move from Chelsea.

TBR’s View: Tanganga Can Shine For Milan
This will go one of two ways for the Italian champions but if they do get Tanganga playing well then a £17m fee is a massive bargain really.
Tanganga will look to successes enjoyed by fellow British defender Fikayo Tomori at the San Siro.

After repeatedly struggling to break-through into the Chelsea first team, Tomori joined the Italian giants in January 2021 on a loan deal with an option to buy.

With the deal being made permanent last summer, Tomori established a formidable partnership in the heart of the club's defence alongside Pierre Kalula, providing the solid foundations that allowed Milan win the Scudetto for the first time in over a decade.

Milan are also said to be targeting 19-year-old Spurs midfielder Pape Matar Sarr, as the Italian club look to bolster their ranks ahead of the upcoming campaign.

The Serie A champions are currently in the midst of a takeover, with RedBird Capital partners having entered into an agreement with Elliot Advisors at the beginning of June.

However, with the deal yet to complete, transfer negotiations have been complcated.

9year old, came home after 4months NICU/SCBU (born 1lb 3oz), on oxygen, and, 5year old, both never had medicine post hospital (eldest, youngest none ever), except once ex-wife gave eldest Calpol, broke my heart as she didn’t need it (don’t count milk of magnesia!).

They have Kelp in their chickpea pancakes, plenty of Calcium, loads of Omega3 (Salmon and Flaxoil) inulin to feed to friendly bacteria they get from kombucha etc etc…

Correlation is causation.

Ex probably gives it them, but not that I know of. Just address the bodies in balances kids especially should not need medicine, rather it’s tragic any do.

Still no confirmation that we've signed Romero permanently which might come as a surprise to some.

However, looking back, he wasn't signed until about 7 August 2021, so if the loan was for one year before we triggered the obligation to buy ...... its about 2 weeks away before the loan comes to an end.

Just hope its in someone's diary at Spurs to make the payment to turn the loan into a permanent signing at the right time.

Levy has it covered....

Not sweating it.... It's just a formality.

"To clear up the situation, the agreement between Spurs and Atalanta is a season-long loan deal with an option - not obligation - to buy for £42.5million.

Furthermore, all parties expect the deal to go through next summer hence why a five-year contract has already been agreed between Romero and the north London outfit."

Wonder would Chelsea look at Pau Torres?

Torres was apparently quite keen on Barca when Kounde looked less likely but who knows.

Possibly but we already have Lenglet at LCB, you would assume any new CB we would go for would be central, a Skriniar type.

Maybe,

although for complete balance I could still see a Left footer being wanted

L - Davies, Lenglet
R - Dier, Romero, Sanchez

so wouldn't be completely surprised if Torres was on the list.

I'm quite keen, don't know how attainable he is, he seems to now want the move having been flattered by our interest last summer before staying to play CL with his boyhood club.

Think he was interested in United but they went with Martinez.

I think we've been as guilty as him in not showing enough interest. I think if we went all out he'd come, it seems like he's just lower down a list of

Bastoni
Gvardiol
Ndicka
Guehi

Torres

Skriniar didn’t play CCB at inter under conte why would we buy him for that position? We wouldn’t imo

He has plays both RCB and LCB mostly, he doesn’t generally play central because they have De Virj who plays there but his skill set is similar to an upgraded version of Dier, he is a leader who commands and dominates, a beast if you will. You could buy De Virj I guess but Skriniar can do it all.

You quoted him as CCB type in a conte system which he never did so I find it difficult to believe we would buy him for that role which you suggested
