There are suggestions our Zaniolo offer is a loan with option to buy.
Whilst this would be perfect for us, in case he doesn't settle as well as Kulu & Cuti, it would surely open the door for Juve, if they have cash flow problems. And just like Barca find a way to sign the players they want, so do Juve.
In terms of a top young Italian player coming to England, Conte is of course our wild card. So it is possible.
Re Italian players, I know Nicola Berti joined us, but he was the wrong side of 30 and it was a free transfer, so presumably big salary.
Our targets Zaniolo & Bastoni are both 23, so their next move will be crucial for their careers.
