So, do you honestly think we will sign another player? I’m not talking the Udinese lad by the way, who’s being loaned back. I just can’t see us signing anybody else now and have thought this for a while that Spence is our final signing. Just wondering why people are so convinced we are definitely bringing 1 or 2 more in? Have I missed something?

Yes.

There's weeks to go yet. You haven't missed something - you just enjoy being a bit grumpy, don't you mr grumpy pants! *pulls cheeks*

Entitled to your view though, but it looks to me as though we're trying to sign some sort of creative mid - which means there's more evidence that we will bring in at least 1 more, as opposed to not sign anyone else.

I guess a lot depends on how and when we shift the deadwood.

With Rodon gone we have no-one suitable for CCB cover other than sticking Romero there and I prefer him in the RCB spot. So a CB of decent quality who is a leader Is very important.

And one of Zaniolo, Paqueta or Maddison. That would round off our window and give us enough depth to challenge in my view across all competitions.

If we don’t we leave ourselves open to normal injuries and tiredness leaving gaps. The window is good but with Conte being normally a short term manager we need to strike while the iron is hot.

Well i hope we do. I’m just not convinced we will. I think it’s years of being let down by Daniel Levy. We have had a decent window, but there are still gaping holes to fill. I just hope Conte is pushing.

If anyone thinks we're signing Bellingham they need serious help. They've already sold Haaland so dont need the dosh. He would likely cost £90m+. They wouldnt have much time to reinvest the money so whats in it for them? Even if you overcome those obstacles you would probably have Liverpool and others piling in at the last minute and lastly you wouldnt say a box to box midfielder is a particular priority for us either. Just on every level its a non starter.

Just a few Spurs community gullible twats mate. No Spurs fan thinks we are signing Bellingham off Dragons “ITK”

I think we have to bring more in if Conte wants to get closer to what he wants to achieve.
Although the squad strength may have improved overall the starting 11 isn't that much better than last year IMO so definitely a couple of more are needed.
The league will be strong this season even clubs like west ham and Newcastle etc are buying well so we can't afford to allow them to get to close.

BVB have a pretty unique situation and have more to offer to young high grade players in terms of footballing development than pretty much any other club.

The warbling of some no mark ITK clown is hardly "news".

P.s. You said I waa on ignore when you flounce in the face of facts a couple of days ago....... How come you're replying again already?
Yes I was checking the thread so removed the ignore as there are quite a few on it.
As for facts there was none presented to me as fact sometimes you believe you are the Oracle believing in your hype that you are always right...... Luckily I'm too old and too tough minded to fall for your nonsense despite your attempts to try to get the last word in.
So have a good day and I will continue to browse the site 👍

Why has Boehly bought Chelsea then? Is the strategy pay what it takes to stay at the top to grow the club value, don't worry about making a profit. Because I guess, even running a 'loss' year after year, Abramovich must still have made plenty of money on his investment selling for what he did.

Ok, I'll re-phrase it.
Chelsea aren't suddenly going to start behaving like ENIC. They will want to make money by being (one of) the best teams in Europe to keep bringing in the big bucks,
They will spend to achieve, not spend if they achieve.

key word is 'available or availability' for last 3, Eg. Brehmer widely said not to want to move outside Italy for personal reasons. I'd also add the term 'sensible money'

btw, Cucurella is 5 foot 8 inches - would you want to play someone of that height as a regular LCB in PL ? LB fine

People suddenly calling Cucurella for LCB now is SO bogus.....

Literally no-one said they wanted him here as a CB before the Chavs started sniffing around him.

53m quid for a makeshift CB? ......Fuck off, you absolute shit-houses!

This means 2 fewer clubs are interested in Reguilón.
A few of you on here have been talking about how much Conte like his WB.... but with Spurs right now having 6 "genuine" WB, plus Conte mentioning using Moura as RWB and the possibility of Ugodie joining as well...this would amount to a WB fetish...
