If we're going down the road of a 'throw chaos in to the mixer' option then you might as well sign Adama for a fraction of the price/wages.

They are both far better dribblers than Lucas.agreed. Look, ASM and Traore have value, but realistically are they even a 10% upgrade on Moura? They don’t particularly offer anything Lucas doesn’t. I’m not even sure Traore is an upgrade at all tbh.
We have yet to be linked with anyone I’d characterize as a clear upgrade on Bergwijn btw. Maddison and Zaha the only exceptions. I can accept Malinovskyi as at least he offers something different in a profile we are lacking.
Given we’re not after a Maddison style #10, is he not the sort of player who would bring some variety to our squad?
His skillset is very different from Kulu, but is that not a plus?
I agree with you that he’s not the ideal Conte player, but after a few months of Contes training regime he may shine.
We should definitely go for him. I hear Conte really doesn't want him.
Aye. Feels very much like Gil's (loan?) deal suddenly became imminent so we reactivated our attacker headhunting. We are definitely going to sign another attacker. There’s suddenly been tons of links the past couple days. Too much smoke to not be a fire. I just don’t know which one considering Don Fabio is probably negotiating with all of them.
I don’t think we get another CB unless Tanganga goes first.
I honestly don’t know about that, this strikes me as the exact sort of availability bias we have as Spurs fans. We remember all the times Lucas runs down blind alleys and loses the ball but against Leicester, Burnley, Villa last year I could make a highlight reel where he looks like Neymar.
Fair. I’m confident ASM’s overall game is much better than Lucas is now. No way Lucas has a game like ASM just had against city. Even the Ajax hat trick game was just 3 amazingly timed finishes rather than looking like a menace and creating all game long.I honestly don’t know about that, this strikes me as the exact sort of availability bias we have as Spurs fans. Whereas with Adama and ASM we remember the highlights shown on MOTD and the odd performance, but not the bad stuff, the turnovers, the lazy pressing, the missed runners etc.
Don’t get me wrong they are much more physically imposing and offer better ball carrying as a result. Overall though their end product, passing, vision, crossing, pressing etc are not better than Lucas at all, so it’s not a consequential difference. They essentially would be slightly stronger versions of Moura and I question spunking big money on that.
No thanks. He’s another flibity Gibit. Capable of moments of of jiggery pokery, but 95% of what he does after the jiggery pokery is erratic.
Honestly it's a bad deal for both parties. The Times saying Chelsea close to signing Gordon, should be done this week.
Zaniolo has a worse injury record than Lamela. That's why I wouldn't sign him.
Newcastle would never sell.
Have to question anyone that doesn’t rate ASM after yesterday.
He went there instead of to us because he didn't want to play right wing back. And here we are a year later expecting him to come to us to play in that very position.
Traore... Traore... Goal kick.
