This is the sort of comment I'd expect to see from a Woolwich, Chav or West Ham fan. Certainly not from one of our own. Revealing to see who agreed with it too

LeaveThat’s the funny/sad part about football twitter, in real life if you saw a 14-18 year old talking about football, you wouldn’t pay too much attention unless they’re reading out the starting lineup before kick off because they’re young and haven’t seen a lot and get too bought in by flavour of the month players, but on Twitter those very same 14-18 year olds can build platforms and become influential within the fanbases of the clubs they support because they have the free time to just tweet all day. Of course there’s some on FT that are well above (like worryingly above) the age of 18 that are far too happy to be speaking to and in group chats with teenagers but the vast majority are underage.
5 mil a year according to google. Which is not outside of our wheelhouse.I personally wouldn't mind him but not sure what wage he's on? Definitely isn't going back to Ajax now.
Romero €50 million, Bissouma €35 million and Kulusevski will be €45 million (€10 million load fee + €35 million purchase fee whenever we decide to activate it), so no really the same as one Antony or Gvardiol… and also we haven’t seen Bissouma play for us yet so I’m not exactly sure why he’s in that discussion…
But in any case, I do get your point. Of course you can get good deals such as Bentacur etc, but the issue is we have been far too reliant on these type of deals for a Champions League outfit and a team that are *supposedly* trying to challenge for major titles.
The words of Poch will always sum up our approach to transfer windows, when he said “we have to stop thinking we can always just try to be clever in the market.”
It still rings true to this day unfortunately.
The book though is pretty much unreadable.A timeless classic. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to return some videotapes.

Yes,As a realistic replacement for Gil, we need someone like Clint Dempsey
A player that can play any attacking position, can make an immediate impact, and be ok with being a rotation player and/or back up for a CL team
Any Clint Dempsey's out there?
Friendly bet that Bryan Gil never makes it as a regular at Spurs. A few cameos that lead to nothing against lower league opposition then permanent move back to spain by next summer at the latest.carrasco is way better than ziyech
if it's not possible to get carrasco give gil a chance
Maybe because he had his mind set on PSGI am personally bit sad that we did not try to sweep in for Fabian Ruiz.
26 (prime) yo; tall and strong (189 cm); CM with good ball-playing ability.
Was on last year of the contract and moved to PSG for 23 mil (estimated market value of 55 mil).
Would have been risk-free option (unless we would have offered very long contract with high base salary) in the sense that even if he wouldn't have coped with EPL intensity, we could have sold him back for similar amount.
