Our creativity is sucking the life out of Son imo. Need a creative midfielder in before window shuts imo.

Where is this creative midfielder, who wasn't here last season when Son won the golden boot, playing?

They may be fine defensively, but the combo of Emerson and Sanchez are killing any build-up or attack we have.

Romero back ASAP!

Time for Doherty or even Spence to have a run.

Never heard of Dan James is he good??

We've still got around £280million worth of ffp wriggle room to play with so you'd like to think so.

A good litmus test tomorrow to see if ENIC 's priorities have finally changed
It just feels like we haven't actually gotten around to replacing Eriksen (and even he was absent for that last year or so). For all the 'Conte's system doesn't use a CAM' arguments - I get it, but there's no way we can excel with a midfield so devoid of ideas.

Who, out of our main competition, doesn't have a lock-picker we'd gladly take into our squad?

That is crazy talk, I suggested it after the Chelsea game and got "why do we need him". Well we need him, or someone like him. It looks like the aim is to win every game 1-0, who knows what will happen if we need to start chasing a game.
Great call.

Conte worked a fucking miracle getting us into the top 4 last season. And with the squad as it stands, he'll need to work an even bigger miracle to keep us in there this season

I knew the lazy rhetoric of Spurs needing a creative midfielder would have been trotted out the moment we dropped points somewhere.

We didn't draw today because we lacked a creative midfielder. Just like West Ham didn't get a point because they added one to their squad. lol

The quicker we can get Richarlison and likely Spence in our starting eleven and Romero back in the side, the better. For everyone.

Basically everyone except City (obviously de Bryune) and they still attack down the sides more than the middle

Liverpool & Woolwich both attack primary through their wingers

Look, I'll settle for us running into the opposition box with purpose at this point.

Of course.

I'd like us to just be ruthless and take it to the opponents a bit more. West Ham were there for the taking tonight and we let them back into the game because weren't aggressive enough. We needed a burst of energy in that second half and all we did was have Hojbjerg hobble around for 10 minutes disrupting the flow.

But a creative midfielder is doing shit in this team. We don't play with one. We're not dropping Kulusevski for one. And it's quite obvious we're not dropping Son regardless (and if we do, it'll be for Richarlison anyway).

We aim to play with width using our wing backs. Perisic is fine in this regard. He creates. But we see it time and time again on our right side when Romero is out that our right side doesn't have the same level of quality.

I'd say RWB was a lot more important than any sort of creative midfielder in a Conte set up. Hopefully Spence grabs his chance when he gets it because we could do with someone who can run up and down that flank and give us another outlet.
