if he doesnt change it after tonight's stinker he never will. luck finally ran out and luckily it was in a game that might not matter if he pulls his finger out.

drop son, drop davies, drop emerson. kulu, lenglet and one of the other rwb. valid argument for changing the midfield too although i think they will naturally get a life by changing the other 3.

performances have to be better, its hard for a team to play well when you got a player like son who is useless unless hes running in behind, a LCB who quite simply just doesnt cut the mustard at the top level, and a RWB who sees so much of the ball and has one of the worst end products ever seen.
 
I think Bentecur and Hojberg look shot to pieces already. Running on empty because Conte refuses to rotate them. I honestly would start both Skipp and Bissouma v Leicester. Conte needs to start utilising this squad of ours. It’s extremely poor from him at the moment. Son needs dropping ASAP too.

No reflection on the other regulars, but I was so excited for us to sign him yet we've seen nish from him so far. :(

It's been such a big disappointment. Total nothing from him so far. I get it's early on but we've had enough games to see more of him. Same with Spence tbh, 22 isn't THAT young & he fits the Conte mould yet we've barely had a glimpse.

I get the frustration over Spence; but Biss is a whole other level in terms of experience and expectation.

I think Conte seems a bit like Poch, unless the player is 100% comfortable and good with the exact movements/positions of the system they don’t play.

Watching Spence destroy Woolwich and Leicester at wing back last season while also playing great in defence I cannot figure out how he doesn’t significantly upgrade Royal. Same as Bissouma who ran the show for Brighton. I refuse to believe they have lost their ability so it must be that Conte is very fickle on understanding the positional play 100%.

Skipp also under Nuno was a more dynamic player than Hojbjerg but he is quiet. Conte I think is just very conservative:

My main frustration with Spence is the other options are so limited. But yes, Bissouma is the most frustrating issue as he was the signing that was meant to level us up in midfield and he's not even gettting close to it.

Conte's got his methods & we have to respect that but there surely has to be a point where watching Emerson understand the 'patterns' but never being able to capitalise becomes too much. Spence might be a bit more dysfunctional but at least it's a curveball & a player who can contribute if he gets in to the right areas.

I don't see a need for Emerson vs Leicester at home.

I think you’re probably correct and can imagine a few rumblings on here when the team is announced at 4-30 on Saturday
