All of you crying out for an expensive wingback when conte was always a huge uncertainty going forward are going to look silly when Porro is winning the Europa league on loan with Villarreal in a couple of seasons.

Was a baffling move way too late in the day. I mean its been obvious since the world cup about Conte. That £40m could have gone on a centre back or creative player.

Still hope he tears it up and becomes a competent right back long term.

Son is definitely being asked to play a role that doesn't suit him tactically. He shouldn't be made to play with his back to goal and distribute the ball. He doesn't have the passing range for it.

Even Lenglet was running into that space in Milan. Not sure what we're up to in that part of the pitch.
Doherty sucks and could do nothing with it, but he, Kulu and Romero seemed much more in sync down the right when that was the trio.
It's not clear what, but in terms of his health, the take-away is very much that he came back too soon.
Kulu has been smart enough to fathom how to work in tandem with both of Doh & Emerson...... The additional balance depends on who is at RWB, but the blend/balance of our left side has been crap all season and at it's worst when Lenglet has been the 3rd element alongside Perisic (or Sessengon) & Sonny.
Lenglet + Perisic + Son sucks the most.

But you would think he'd know this before he took over.
His other factors are nothing special. There's people on £30k a years who get sick, suffer loss and get on with things without acting like a little fanny
Giving money away is easy.
Staying with his family makes perfect sense. He came back too soon, he couldn't bring the energy on the sideline that is his trademark.

He shouldn't have rushed back, and I'm glad he's resting. I do have a feeling this medical leave will then transition into gardening leave though, so a non-sacking sacking. He gets to keep his CV clean with no firing on it, and we get to plan properly for his replacement starting now.
He said he won't be back until fully fit. Any guesses how long ? 2 or 3 weeks?
