Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I suspect he is burnt out and just wants to return to Italy.

Giving an interview 2 days before we play Milan; stating your true love is Italy was insulting to our club and showed that he has no passion to be here.

He doesn't have the fight in him to achieve anything this season, and I suspect he should step down and allow Stellini to finish out the season in preparation for Poch in the summer.

I generally like Conte. I had high expectations. Believe he’s finished now though. His complete inability to change tactics/ rotate and sub players is baffling at this point. He has been backed to a degree. No excuses. The fact we played one of our best games of the season against City with him not in the stadium is pretty telling.

What does it take to give Richy a start? He’s Brazil’s number 9 for crying out loud! Speedy recovery to the man though.

I think we should get Poch in now so that he can help us salvage the season and get a proper look at the team and begin planning for the summer.

Stellini may be a decent assistant manager, but it's not good for team morale to have the manager out in italy for a long time while his subbordinate actually manages the club.

It indicated that he cares and has professional pride in this job when many have been accusing him of not doing so.

Your going OTT here mate..... There were enough individually poor performances to say that the players played a big part in the loss too.

Flakey analogy tbf.......

HOW is this "flakey" analogy? It is absolute copy paste.

Medically unwell person comes to work too early, putting himself into danger, does a poor job and prevents others from doing it better.

This is dangerous and absolutely unsustainable. No adult person should tolerate such thing more than coming to work sick or going to some kind of sports competition while being sick.
There is no fucking honour in getting chronical heart muscle issues from running marathon with fever. It IS black and white situation.

Mate, Conte isn't putting anyone else's health at risk... It's a silly analogy.

There are valild things to beat him with... Being eager get back and help the team isn't one of them.

Ok, I agree that he did not put others health in risk.

But he denied other people from doing the job while he himself was not in right condition to do the same job.

He's physically impaired, not mentally...... You honestly think if he wasn't ill he'd have lined the team up any different and been all dynamic and stuff with his subs?

If not; this is all a bit moot.

Surely has to win a few things before he’s close to being better?
no, ten hag is good also without trophies (real trophies, not eredivisie with ajax) because he has ideas. also potter.
while the others (guardiola, klopp, conte, mourinho, ancelotti) have to prove their value year after, and that single year they don't win we can say that they are finished and their previous victories were just lucky

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia and MediaSet, the Dane said: “Kane was the first problem to face on every Tottenham move. It was important to block him off and then press the others.

“We were ready for a lot of their moves and did what we prepared in training. We knew exactly what they were going to do.”

If the ref did a proper job he would have been carded in the first 10-20 mins for continuous fouls on Kane

If that was best he could do in perfect conditions (sitting on his hands and making sub on 70-something minute, bringing in Royal, Sanchez and Richie) then I do have questions about his mental health, yes.

The Poch I remember always needed one of his famous pre-seasons before he could get results.

Not sure where this assumption comes from that a new manager is going to get a bounce...
