It's not unambitious to enjoy a comeback from 3 goals down vs Ajax in a CL Semi-final more than winning a league cup. Trophies matter a lot but this was an iconic game in an iconic competition .. not hard to work out.

To be fair, he gave us that win over Ajax. Which was one of the best nights of supporting Spurs I've ever had. Certainly a lot better than winning the League Cups in 2008 and 1999.

Yes which is fine and I don't disagree but when posters mention about the game being more about trophies it gets pushed back to the trophy conversation.
And that particular poster loves banging on about our lack of trophies under this ownership but at the same time there have been alot of great moments under this ownership that don't necessarily revolve around winning a trophy.
