Seems like a decent guy. He was rubbish for us in the PL. Not that hes doing anything significantly better in serie A. But we can see he is able to pass the ball around when not pressed and under pressure he gives away the ball. Already made goal-leading mistakes there as well.Serie A teams dont press as much and generally arent as good as PL teams . So it could be a nice home for him and I wish him the very best as he isnt a horrible human or anything. Just dont want to see him play for spurs again. Ever.
Around 10m would make up for the time/wages invested in him.
He looks really good in the vid. Good passing range, using nimbleness and quick little runs (rather than size) to move the ball and find space to pass into. He made an impressive number of chances.
Like Conte said, the Prem is a different game though and Winks just isn't quite enough physically to be the pure number 8 he is meant to be at his best. Its a role he could excel at in a less physically demanding (elite) league though. Basically anywhere but the Prem.
Playing somewhere on the Mediterranean or Iberian coast seems like a dream to me- hope he is enjoying it equally well.

Their record transfer is €20m on a 22 year old keeper in 2019. Sampdoria have spent a total of €20.51 in the last 4 transfer windows combined and look certain to go down. Basically no chance they go for the buy-out clause
