Tottenham are said to be interested in a move for RB Salzburg’s Noah Okafor despite the problems that surround the club.
Spurs currently find themselves without a manager or a director of football after Antonio Conte’s departure and Fabio Paratici stepping back from club duties after being involved in Juventus’ accounting scandal, but Salzburger Nachrichten (via HITC) say that the club are still interested in a move for Okafor, with their interest dating back to March.

The Swiss international has one year left on his contract with Salzburg, for whom he has scored 34 times in 108 games, with ten of those goals coming this season.

Woolwich were said to be interested in Okafor in March, so Spurs will need to make sure their arch-rivals do not get their hands on their target if they want to challenge for honours with the likes of the Gunners going forward.

Again with the club signings.

He’s a good player, but we might have a a manger who says ‘go get Brandt for half the price and I’d like to play Kane as a genuine 10, with Kulu as his back up’.

Unless, of course, this is Rodgers incoming.

The coach is a fucking club signing. If the coach won't use the hand her has been delt, don't sign the coach.

I'm skeptical of any "vision" that rejects a player of Kane's caliber.

Productive strikers are the hardest thing in the world for a club to find and keep hold of, so any manager that rejects Kane has already half set themselves up for failure.
Even if he doesn't sign a new contract he will be worth more to us by staying the whole contract time and fuck off next summer than if he is sold this summer and we bring in someone else for a year. If he stays, the new coach, by his actions, has a whole year to convince him to sign the contract. Levy, don't let him force himself out this summer.

Okafor means Son is off.

Maddison in the Eriksen role?

Sounds very Poch to me.

GK
LCB
Maddison
Scott
Okafor/Kuddus

Lots of cunts leaving.

If it is Poch, does he take 2nd look at Tanguy or Lo Celso?
Suspect the answer is yes to Tanguy, he had an interview saying people don’t realize what he can be.

Maddison would mean the loss of Kane is limited from a creative standpoint. Still leaves the 20-30 a season goals though.

We've bought players with no coach or DOF before, maybe he got his scouts or David pleat advising him.
We did hire a guy to work under Paratici that is the one that is meant to handle the entire player scouting and recruitment bit. Gabanini.

Paratici's role was more about being the head of the football operation, whilst Gabnini and Steinorson (did I spell that right?) fill the more traditional DOF roles.

Awfully handy right now.
