As a poch fan I watched a fair bit of psg when he was manager and despite the stellar squad much of the football was turgid boring as fuck and unadventurous- a bit like his last 3 months at spurs -,that’s why he is not top of my list but his return would boost morale at the club and may be worth a punt.
Ok. Thanks.

That was him not wanting 'club signings' anyone can see more money needs to be spent to make us a quality side, we spent 130m on only 3 players, we finally added another striker after trying to add one for about 5 or 6 years.
So he prefers to lose in order to set an example to the club before using the hand her has been delt and try to win. I get it. Personal prestige over the team. I'm glad he's gone. Was Richarlison a club signing, Danjuma?

Ok so knocking on the CL door for two seasons is not good enough for you then.
You're ignoring the second part of his original comment - he said:

"I’d take consistently knocking on the CL door for two seasons (is twice consistent??) if the new team were able to build a formation, an ethos and a way of playing that actually was our DNA instead of the Harrods hamper full of Lidl cheese we’ve been putting up with recently."

He isn't saying that he wanted Conte out because of the results, he's pretty clearly saying he wanted Conte out because of pretty much everything else, primarily our turgid style of play I expect.

Tbh I agree - I'd happily take fighting for a CL place each season with a cup thrown in every (say) 4-5 years (something we would have had in last 10 years if we'd not been incredibly unlucky / bottled it (depending on your preferred narrative) at the crucial moments in that period) if we were also playing good football, the kind of football that used to at times make us the envy of the league even despite us never actually winning anything... But the football this season has been horrific, perhaps even worse than under Mourinho, cowardly and passive, and that is just not good enough.

I will just laugh if/when Rodgers takes the West Ham job and brings them success.

Brings them success?? As they are so massive?? This is West Ham who play at the London stadium we are taking about??

Did you get kidnapped on Friday night, sedated and just woke up thinking it was April Fools Day?

Or have I been Kidnapped and sedated Moyes has been sacked and West Ham are in talks with Brendan Rodgers?

What’s going on here????

I don't really think that the Spurs job is that more cursed than any other "limited" club. Managers at tons of clubs eventually feel like they are limited in their ambitions by the club for some reason or another.

We are just very high profile and actually looked close to shattering the glass ceiling for a bit. So we stick out.
I agree. We just got 3 cursed coaches in a row.

Is he being serious, or is this a West Ham ruse?

"Now, the former Liverpool coach has been backed by a Premier League player.
Speaking to The Footballer’s Football Podcast, West Ham forward Michail Antonio said: “I think that would be unbelievable.
“Spurs like to play football, they like to play tight-knit football. They’ve got Harry Kane who drops in, they’ve got Son [Heung-min] to hit edges. I swear to you, it would work. It would definitely work.”

I Chavs have a shortlist and started meeting reoresentives of some including JN. They have poch, Napoli manager, EF manager , luis E, Amorim as well. Have we got a shortlist confirmed by any sources and actually started interviewing? If chavs can do it surely we can?
Also it’s unlikely, with the teams we still have to play and unlikely to win with stellini in charge , we are getting top 4. So why not just ditch him and start planing for next season with a new manager who can they start implementing their styke.

I imagine mainly due to possible Harry Kane situation

Not sure how you come to that conclusion. It is good enough, but only if there’s a genuine philosophy, structure and plan behind what comes next.
You said you called for his head, so it wasn't good enough. Surely Conte cannot implement philosophy and structure y himself without the board?
