If Poch hasn’t already fully committed himself to Chelsea then Levy needs to swallow his pride and do everything he can to bring him back. We’re fucked. Who the fuck is going to manage us. If he fucks this appointment up then we’re done, could genuinely get relegated next season.

Although that might give us more of a chance of winning a trophy.

Who am I kidding, we’d still bottle the Championship. Absolute banter club, with banter players and banter owners.

That's just the first google search that popped up.

Let's make the line clear: if any of Levy, Munn or the (presumably) soon to arrive Sporting Director faces questions from a journalist not employed by the club, over which they don't have editorial control, then I consider my complaint addressed.

Paratici never did that once. Has Levy ever?

This is bare minimum shit.

What did you hear here that you didn’t get from Paratici?

I didn’t hear a grilling or any meaningful talk of strategy.

And you’ll appreciate that people like Deuterz Deuterz will write off any positive things people say at the club because they’re employees. « Of course they’ll say that ».

You're going to get happy-clappy pablum generally, acknowledged.

But I'd encourage you to watch the second video with Dan Ashworth, right at the time Brighton was replacing Chris Hughton with Graham Potter.

Very specific about the club's strategy and competitive aims, and the process and structure they've put in place to achieve them. All of what he describes has happened and more. He even mentions thinking in terms of how to replace Potter in the event he moves onto bigger and better things.

I'd be over the fucking moon if anyone ever did that at Spurs.

One reason they don't is because Levy is naturally secretive and has contempt for the general public. Another reason is that the club's strategy is pure cynicism and depends on not being acknowledged publicly.

You think it’s false that coaches at spurs are more even-handed about Levy and privately critical of the ignorance of fans. You think these are lies. Fair enough.
I have known a few pro's over the years at a much lower level and they all think fans are thick and for the most part care little about fans at all.
This is not something specific to Spurs fans.

You don’t know the bit in bold at all. That’s an unwarranted inference. And it’s one you hold despite the fact nearly every other club does the same. Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, Woolwich, United…

If you seriously think players, coaches the tea lady actually think levys doing a good job for the football club, your more deluded (troll) than I thought. In public they will tow the company line in private they can see, just like the fans can.
Many staff will think he's doing more than ok for the football club.

He has built the best stadium in the land , a state of the art training ground creating more jobs while still maintaining the team largely in the top 8 where historically we have always been.

Fans are different so will not be happy unless we are winning cups & doing better in the league.

I agree. Deuterz Deuterz will be calling you a lying shill in a minute

Erm no. I don’t doubt most coaches think football fans are thick, most people in general think football fans are thick.

I highly doubt most coaches at the club are full of praise of how great Levy is - that’s lying shill talk.

That because on the whole us fans know absolutely Jack shit.

Roles reversed if they walked into my office and I told them to go and operate a CNC machine all day or go on the road and do some site work they would undoubtedly cause all sorts of fuckery.

Difference is majority of fans think they know everything about football and could do it better than the professionals.

Agree for the most part. But what the fans don’t know is the complicated details. We don’t know how to run a team from front to back. But we can generally tell if someone is doing a poor job by simply comparing us to other clubs.

I don’t know how to run a CNC machine. But if another person/company is able to operate it a lot more efficiently than I can tell one is better than the other, even though I may not understand the why or have a solution.

Good job no one has said that. Again - we can’t have conversations if you don’t listen to what people are saying. You’re just shouting into the void.

Has Levy lost the dressing room? Only in his case it's the confidence of Joe Lewis, the rest of the board and staff at Spurs. It must be close.

I personally think he's already damaged to the point he won't recover, he just hasn't accepted that yet. Maybe uncle Joe will ask him to step away, or he'll come to that conclusion himself. If not I think it will happen anyway - Lewis will see to it one way or the other, maybe by selling a big chunk of his stake to create a new major shareholder.

The problem for Levy is that now he's built the new stadium, there's less to distract from the footballing failures. And after Mourinho and Conte, who succeeded everywhere else, he can't claim it's the manager.

I get the sense that like managers who lose the confidence of the players, he's entered a death spiral, his reputation is too badly damaged and it will only get worse for him. Maybe the end, and a new dawn, is not so far away.

Quite the opposite, he has a load of yes men and women on the board that he's surrounded himself with so they will always have his back.

Purslow loves the limelight.
He was also the guy who hired Stevie G.

These people don't make correct decisions all the time.
Football is not an exact science.

Brighton is the club everybody is holding up as the 'answer' right now.
They look superbly run ngl.

You will always get a few clubs OVERACHIEVING.

A few years back it was Nunos wolves who were top 8.

West Ham got top 8.

Leicester did incredibly well for a few seasons.

It doesn't mean they are natural top 8 clubs like we are.

We had some superb times under Poch in the league with top 3 & an CL final ffs .
We overachieved.

It doesn't mean we are a top 2 or 3 club

Fact is we have largely done decent in the league under Enic.

Everybody wants their club to overachieve.

All clubs can't overachieve every season🤣. It's friggin impossible

Eventually you will return to 'mean' through squad cycles then hopefully move forward again rather than drop like Everton.

If you still defend these incompetent spivs, quite frankly you deserve a clump. It’s not fucking funny to troll people who have skin in the game
