He's not working with the fans. He's working with the team who aren't responsible for the idiots in the stands.
He also claimed that there were certain clubs that he could never work for out of loyalty to the fans and look how that turned out.

My loyalty as a fan is to Tottenham. Not Poch.

As long as he is at Chelsea he is the enemy. Same for any player that goes there. Or to any of our other rival clubs.

Well our fans turned on him. I just can't get into the mindset of hating other teams.
Football is just a game, not a religion . Why waste energy with negative feelings about something that doesn't really matter. I've been a spurs fan for over 60 years and they are part of the fabric of my life but it doesn't mean I have to hate other teams...
I better shut up...I'm beginning to like a vicar on Sunday morning..
Pax Vobiscum Patrik....in the name of Bill Nicholson.,Jimmy Greaves and Glen Hoddle....

Agree. You dont issue statements like they did to the friendly press about Naglesmann unless you think you have someone else sorted. Why on earth rule anyone out if its all to be decided? They didnt want (probably) Slot to be seen as 2nd choice to Naglesmann so distanced themselves.

OR

They have something in place with JN and are distancing themselves until end of the season to pay Bayern less.

Poch was sacked by us. So he's moved on, unlike us!
Personally I wish him the best at whatever job he takes and shall always remember what he did for us. Saying "f**k him" shows a level of complete ingratitude for taking us higher than we've been for so many years.
Good luck Poch!!
He also has said that Chelsea, not Woolwich is Spurs biggest rival. And he has said he would never manage Barcelona because of rule rivalry with his team, Espanyol. I can't believe he got so desperate for a job so he had to choose our biggest rival. If he don't have any feelings for us. Why should we have any feelings for him

One more time. Fuck him,

The longer the search goes on, the more chance someone like Rodgers or Potter gets the job. We need to avoid this at all costs. This is a generic and boring appointment that would be made out of a quest for stability. When really we need to rock the boat hard

The Celtic Aussie is a better choice than the above, although considering Nagelsmann and Slot are out, a bit of a let down. I would also throw in Carrick and Xabi Alonso as people who should be considered.
Alonso has said he's staying put.

I think this is fake? Haven't seen Romano tweet this anywhere
But if @thfcilly says so, it must be true!!

Funny how a lot on here are trying to now justify Ange! Initially everyone wanted poch or JN. Then slot came along abd went. Don’t think Ange was on the radar at all . Now people are basically trying to convince themselves his the man. It’s shit! There are better European managers out with more top level experience but now some think SPL manager is good. Neil Lennon, Martin O’Neil, Brendan all won the spl. It’s easier to coach attacking football up there as all the teams sit back v Celtic abd rangers expecting to be thumped. By default they play attacking football as they have no choice due to how the oppo setup. Now can Ange coach a team in PL to play attacking passing football when a lot of the teams do the sane thing. I’d love to see his styke v say Brighton. How would he set up? He dies t have really think tactically in the SPL. Tactics are predetermined bcos of the wank they playing against.
As i've said all along, only Poch or Nagelsmann for me.

Anything else will be failure, at least on paper!

Fucking spot on! However some on here seem to falling for the clubs choices and trying to convince themselves they are good. I mean starks seems to have his own agenda re Ange almost like he works for him based on the amount info he puts out. Crazy we are looking at all these “alternative”. Once JN was sacked by BM majority on here happy as Larry that he had fallen into our laps. Someone some great act of play worked out way. Also with poch available it was like we couldn’t believe our luck. Unfortunately we a board who couldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth.
Or maybe Nagelsmann don't want to take over this mess???

Or maybe we have already signed him???

None of us have a single clue on what goes on behind the scenes, do we?

Can understand the sentiment that no one of note wants to take over the mess Levy has created tho!

He also said in a podcast yesterday that the manager and director of football has a direct impact on Kane staying or not. The project (I hate that word in a football sense, it means nothing and we don’t operate like that anyway) is more important to him than money. Get the riding manager and director of football in and Kane will stay. It just makes the Nagelsmann situation so strange. He’s sitting there available and willing to come in with a DoF who he can work with and you’d expect Kane to be happy with him, yet we don’t look like we want him. It’s fucking strange. As strange as not picking up the phone to Poch, if not stranger.
Nagelsmann is on gardening leave from Bayern. And it's been widely reported that Bayern are reluctant to let him go before the summer without a hefty fee!

Maybe we already have a DoF and Manager on board, but can't announce them out of contractual reasons??

None of us have a clue
