Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Even though he can no longer win even the individual awards he deserves in this team, I'm praying he might at least snag a record-breaking POTM for May for his five goals in four matches and some great play. He certainly outplayed Haaland this month.

I' m not sure, if anyone is stupid enough to let a player worth £75m+ leave a on a free it's Levy.
I suppose he must be feeling like a rabbit in the headlights right now (not that I have any sympathy). I mean, imagine if Spurs sold Kane and changed nothing else before next season. Instant recipe for a scrap to get into the top half. Ofc, they wouldn't actually do that (I hope) but that's the kind of psychological effect we're talking about.

No way he was that cool thinking it was his last game.

His intent is to play out the last year of his contract and see what’s up then.

Levy won’t sell him this summer unless Real offer 120m .

He’s here next season imo

He is our player , one of the best we have had in living memory.
I guess his conversations with levy are going to be interesting, but I can't see why he would want to stay.
He is 30 this summer, and still to decorated as a player, if we are honest with ourselves, he is not going to win anything at this basket case of a club.
Yea, you cant have Englands captain and basically a superstar not kicking a ball in European football at age 30. Out of his hands i guess but might be interesting if Real Madrid came in.

Of course we don't want to see him leave, and I hope and expect he's been given the opportunity to sign a bumper new contract.

But if he is GOING to leave, it is the club's responsibility to put its best foot forward.

Kane leaving on a free would be a catastrophe.

If no one is willing to pay what the club think he's worth, that's not on the club. That's because no club out there thinks it'd be smart to spend that much on a 30 year old.

He'll be here next season. I just hope within that time we semble something of a football club again on the pitch.

the ship sailed with city. hed be an idiot to go man united. they are shit and hes not guaranteed to win anything there. the only team that guarantees you trophies in england is city. why would he dilute this legacy he has built here for man united! people talk about them like its still the fergie era hhahahah thats LONG gone.

i think hell stay here for the rest of his years now, hell be the clubs top legend with a statue outside. extend his spurs record, his england record and in a couple years his prem record....all that holds more weight than any trophy! shit players have won trophies. no shit player has a statue outside a clubs ground though

If no club is willing to pay an amount that would jump-start the recruitment of the post-Kane team, then no, that's not on the club.

If the club won't accept a bid that *would*, out of sheer refusal to engage with reality (which has already happened in Summer 2021), then yes, that is very much on the club and is the sort of titanic business failure that somehow Levy still enjoys a reputation for avoiding.

I reiterate, I suspect not for the last time: Kane leaving on a free would be a catastrophe.

Not for him.

Kane might be fine to run down his contract and leave on a free. It would give him another year to see if Haaland leaves for Madrid, ETH can continue to build at United, if Newcastle push on and how Poch does at Blue Scum. If the Qataris take over at United then he probably agitates for a move … otherwise I think he stays for one last season with us - Hope I’m wrong but I can’t see us doing enough for him to sign a new deal.

Nobody wants Kane to go, but he wanted out a couple of seasons ago, when he felt the club couldn't match his ambition.
And yet, fast forward a couple of seasons, and low and behold, the club can't match his or any ambition, so what is there to keep him.

Superb goalscoring effort in a wretched team.

He's going bloody nowhere next season of that I'm sure as no way Levy will sanction selling our best player given the mess we're in. Hopefully we might be in a better state come next season and he'll put pen to paper...

All the more remarkable given how many different (shit) managers and styles of play he's had, the multiple serious injuries and absolute superstars like Moura, Winks, Sissoko etc. that he's had to play with.

I'll always wonder what more he could have done with a proper team, so many great moments created by him will be forgotten cos they fizzled out at the feet of our other players.

I firmly believe he's better than Lewandowski, and possibly even prime Benzema. None of them ever won a golden boot while getting one touch in the opposition box per game like Kane did under Mourinho.
