Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

TalkSPORT pundit Jason Cundy says nobody’s talking about Tottenham star Harry Kane

Where would Tottenham Hotspur be without Harry Kane this season?

The Englishman has once again had a sensational campaign in the Premier League. He has scored 30 goals in 38 games, which is an unbelievable record for anybody, let alone someone who has been playing in a really poor team.

Erling Haaland won the Golden Boot yesterday after finishing the season with 36 Premier League goals. He completely deserves that award, but Cundy feels the Norwegian’s numbers this term is the reason why nobody’s talking about Kane right now.

He said on talkSPORT last night: “We’re going to talk about Harry Kane – 30 Premier League goals this season.”

Jermaine Pennant replied: “That is unbelievable!”

Cundy continued: “No one is talking about him, because of Haaland.

“Let me tell you now, Harry Kane would get the record if he played for Manchester City. He has played in a side that has ended up finishing eighth. 30 Premier League goals – insane record! He is one of the greatest strikers in the world right now.

“Harry Kane has a year left on his contract, where will Spurs be next year if he does decide to leave?”

Pennant instantly replied: “Relegation!”

Let's say he goes to another club, the tactics and quality of other players only allow him to score 10 a season, but he might win a trophy or two. What would he prefer at this stage of his career?

Yes were shit but....we created more chances for Kane than anyone other club has for their striker except city for Haaland. Our problem isnt creating chances, its our defense.

Were Kane to leave I would have some serious fears about our league position next year. He is practically half our team.

I just do not trust the rest of them, and there is no structure or plan at the club. Levy will do more of the same and expect a different outcome, and we know what that means.
Once again I will go into the new season with absolutely no expectations, after four years of tedium.

I still dunno where he goes.

The whole schtick is that he needs trophies - who guarantees him them?

Think he'll wanna stay in the UK and the only team guaranteed trophies is City and they won't want him.

Not sure any other club is as sure a thing as worth tarnishing what he has here.

Still think he'll stay and reassess later.
I'm not sure they won't want him. Kane can play with Haaland easy. With KDB showing signs of wear it would be a very clever buy from city.

I had to be content on watching the day's action on BBC Results show, and had to put up with Keown as one of the pundits. They were discussing who was better out of Augero and Kane. You won't be surprised who Keown plumped for, but all credit to Dion Dublin who shut him down. He used the 'no trophies' argument to beat him with.
Same as Micah Richards. All I will say to that is my friends who know nothing about football know who Harry Kane is. I only know Richards since he became a pundit (and not a very good one, at that).
I hope H stays but wouldn't blame him if he moved on (unless he goes to the chavs or the goons).
My Mrs freinds a are Milanese they have zero intrest in football they barely care Inter are in the ECL final they all know 'The Hurricane'

I’ve never understood why people think Kane and Haaland couldn’t play together, on paper it’s an absolute dream partnership. City would be foolish to not go for him if he’s on a free, they always look to bolster their squad with top players.
