The universal dismay about Rodgers being appointed will now begin to fracture.

The happy clapper, replica shirt wearing, client reference numbers, who renewed on time, will begin to mumble about things 'not being too bad' after all.

One Hotspur memberships and season ticket renewals / purchases will increase at this point.

Levy will watch the numbers.

There may be further incoming transfers if Levy thinks it will sell Rodgers and more tickets to the less militant and 'moderate' clientele.

I'm not sure Levy is that cunning but if he is, I think I respect him more.

Potter was sacked not long after Conte

Poch doesn't start work until July 1st and he has been given only a two year contract.

If this week we announce a manager on a two year contract and he doesn't start until July 1st there would be an uproar.

Levy made made it clear by giving the job to Mason till the end of the season that the club were not going to appoint anyone untill the season was over.

Okay balanced and fair until and if it doesn't happen. Then...?

July 1st is but 33 days away.
 
I'm not saying Ange is untested in a big league but I reckon a managerial duo of Tony Adams and Sol Campbell could win the Scot Prem with Celtic.

Even Stevie G looked good in Scotland.

Australia, J League and Scotish Prem just don't compare.
