Nutter, the shite spewing from so many on Twitter is of epic proportions. I've spent most of my Spurs supporting life ripping shreds out of their fans for being cunts, even when they were miles better than us on the park I've always had our fanbase to fall back on.

We've always outsung them. Always had them on the run. Even as a non-violent supporter the opportunity to take part in the welcoming comity on derby day has always been a highlight.

Nowadays it's just cunts crying everywhere.
WHL on NLD day was fucking sinister. I can remember coming out of a game (can't remember the score so we must have lost), heading over to Chapel Stones and, looking down the High Road, seeing a line of what must have been around 50 meat wagons down the centre of the road, with literally thousands of Spurs fans lining the footpaths, waiting for the filth to be let out.

The atmosphere was proper sinister, like I said. You could feel the hatred oozing from those Spurs fans, they were gagging to kick off, and the cozzers knew it.

Conversely, I went to Highbury for a NLD, strolled through Islington in the colours, got a bit of verbal from a goon pub, but only enough to make me laugh, then made my way through crowds of goons to get to the away end.

Not a peep from any of them.

This was always a cracking put down to any goon who chirped up at me, shut them down every time.

Our fan base going that way is fucking embarrassing. I've never hid my colours no matter how badly the team was doing, never been ashamed of my club. If our lot are turning into a parody of the filth fans then that may just change.

If we do get Ange,do you think Kylie and Danni Minogue will start turning up at the lane?
Apparently, Margot Robbie has already asked if she can reserve a seat next to you.

No I don’t support the ira. Fuck off. I doubt you know anything about the history of the troubles and the conflict in Nire.

They don’t tend to teach that stuff in English schools.

Im leaving it here. Annoyed with myself for even engaging with your offensive accusations. Have a good day

Some people have a very blinkered view on Northern Ireland, the situation there was and still is a lot more complex than people believe. There was a pretty good documentary on BBC recently called "Once open a time in Northern Ireland " it's available on the Bbc i player . Worth a watch, shows things from all sides..

BBC Two - Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland - Episode guide

The level of derangement is astonishing. People actually think that Levy would risk losing money on a £2 billion asset in order to increase visibility in a country of 25m where football isn’t the most popular sport. And then use a manager —rather than a star player — to do it. Surely, if this were the case, it would make more sense( with less risk) to sign Mooy or Ryan as a squad player.
Come on, mate, get your head out of your arse and read a little Twitter every now and then to inform yourself. It's clearly Munn hiring his mates.

I don't think that's down to either Son or Kane, their job is to cut down passing lanes, it is then the job of the midfielders to attack the player(s) that the ball is being played into. Earlier in the season, we saw both PEH and, particularly, Bentancur do exactly that, resulting in goals.

For some reason that just stopped happening, probably because Bentancur was injured. I also think that those happened when we played a midfield 3, but I could be wrong on that.

A high press would suit Kane, I think. He'll be making the same type of movement to cut down passing lanes, as he would when we're attacking, essentially identifying the right space and occupying it. It's then the midfield's job to either attack the passed to player, or find the pass when attacking, often both in the same move.

High press is more about the speed and energy of your midfielders than it is about the forwards. The exception is Richarlison, but he should work great in tandem with Kane. Passing lane cut off, goalkeeper/defender pressured into a hasty pass, midfield strike. It can be high risk, as your pressing midfielders leave gaps behind, but done properly it's high reward, the two previous examples of PEH and Bents are testament to that.
Shutting off passing lanes is fine but there’s other more effective ways to press. The amount of times it goes to the oppositions FB and we are 2 to 3 seconds off the press then it doesn’t matter about passing lanes because decent players will always find the pass. We need to be more aggressive as soon as that ball is on its way to FB areas. Wide forward should be on him on his first touch and make him go inside or back. If it goes inside your centre mid on that side should be aggressive and be in front of their player and our centre forward presses the centre back and our other wide forward comes into the ten position. There’s nowhere for them to go if it’s aggressive and quick but we never go with any conviction. When you win it from there you are 20 yards from goal max.
We are the most passive team in the opposition’s defensive third I’ve ever seen. Under Poch it was the complete opposite for a time and it was brilliant to watch. Guys like Eriksen who is not classed as a workhorse but put himself into position where he won possession a lot.
I just want to see us being horrible to play against high up the pitch rather than teams struggle to break us down because we sit on the edge of our box and have our striker 35 yards from our own goal.

We do have a scouting department and will be appointing a DoF. I doubt we will be relying exclusively on the manager to spot talent.

You sure we are appointing a DOF or Sports Director, whatever we call it?

At Celtic Big Ange does both. That could be because they are too cheap to hire one or he doesn't like the staff they have, or it could be that's the way he wants to work...

if the second that's a bit no bueno.
