If they were allowed into the Premier League their finances would night-and-day transform instantly, and they play to larger crowds in a larger city than most of the league, they'd be well positioned to compete.
If they were allowed into the Championship it would take time, but the same mechanics would apply.
Celtic is a giant club. The evil corporate mechanics of modern football have cast them into darkness, but no football supporter should support that cancer.

These teams are definitely better than WSL.
They sold out most of the stadium.
The guy who scored the third for Celtic had time travelled from 1987.
Joe Hart looked well. Still blonde
Ange is a unit. Looked a bit like my uncle at a family wedding, the Next tailored fit was not flattering.
Still, who am I to critique it from my arm chair ? And joking aside, Well done Celtic 115 trophies

The point is that they can beat a good team from the PL. Also in 2008 they drew 1 -1 with United.

They also drew with Guardiola's City twice.
I believe Celtic are one of the only teams, Guardiola has never beat.

The point is people are confusing achieving anything in Scotland with either of the old firm with anything remarkable. That league has gone stale and their results in Europe now reflect that. Scottish teams get beat in the Europa qualifying rounds by teams from Latvia and Iceland. They would struggle hugely in the championship. Their fanbase is addicted to sectarianism and glory seeking (as if beating Inverness could be deemed glorious...) How do you think either would do now v city?
