Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Once he has been officially appointed I will give him my full support. I have my misgivings but hope to be proven complely wrong.
What have we got to lose? Mourinho & Conte were meant to be our saviours that didn’t work out all that well and if reports are true Kane is gone he’s basically it in terms of our best player so there’s no mad panic about who else we lose we will recover so I’m we you my full support and back to playing entertaining football and not that eye bleeding shite we’ve had in the past couple of years

Counterpoint: Spurs fans in the past have been far too passive & accepting of whatever is thrown at them. New generations of fans may just be that bit more ambitious and willing to stomp their feet.

I'm yet to see any evidence of this. The "protests" outside the ground seem to consist of 20 guys stood silently outside the stadium next to a banner drinking beer and they all pack up so they're in the ground in plenty of time for kickoff. People melting down on a messageboard doesn't show ambition, nor does it get the attention of the board.

No top manager is coming to us atm. No idea why anyone would think that they would. If anything, I thought we'd be ending up with someone worse than the likes of Ange. Overall, I'm quite pleased if this happens. Nagelsman would've been just as much a gamble as this and although I loved Poch I don't think going back is always the best move for either party. Potter is good but we've had too many Chelsea manager cast offs and then Rodgers has had a troubled few years (albeit I do rate him).

I feel a bit like we did when we appointed Redknapp. Things were pretty bleak then too and he didnt exactly arrive to unbridled joy but it just worked.
I remember looking at Redknapp's record with Spam, saw that he'd got those serial relegateds to 5th in PL. I thought if he could get them to 5th surely he'd manage top 4 with us. Once he'd kept us up of course.

Gotta love the way he was fired by Spam too.

You call all the petulant entitlement ambition? That’s what this is?

Season 4 Wow GIF by The Office

Thing is would those people massively opposed to ange have the same problem if almiron came in??
I think not and he has had a disaster of a season with lisbon.
Is it a nationality problem!!

The scepticism is understandable yet the puddledrinkers up the road appointed Arteta and his managerial experience is…………..

On that basis then we should've went with Mason instead.

Heck, we still might.....at some point next season anyway.

Question to all the people giving me Disagrees, if we'd announced Ange as our No.1 target a couple of months ago after Conte left, would you still be so keen on his appointment?
