It seems people are more down on his chances because of Levy which is fair enough but that would have been the same for any appointment. More so imo if it had been a bigger name. Personally i'm just happy the stone age football of the last 4 years is hopefully a thing of the past but we still need to rip apart the squad and get some technically better, fitter players in the team.

From what I have seen, the extreme negativity from some fans is bringing out others to defend Ange in unrealistic ways. He might not be everyone's first choice but he's a proven winner everywhere he has gone. Time to support him and hope that trend continues.

I'm just happy we are moving to attacking ideas and away from the anti-football in Jose or Conte.

The first reason I stopped listening to it many years ago now. (However, I do listen to Gameday Live (I think it's called that) with the cunt Durham on Saturday's build-up to the games. Not a hint of wind-up, just straight open reporting from around the grounds up and down the country, it's superb.)

My main reservation with Ange is how crap Celtic were in Europe. We need to be patient here. I wouldn't be shocked if in the first 10 games we took a few batterings whilst he figured his system out against the very best players in the world - not the SPL dross.

Many wanted poch back who was free , I’m not one of them , quite a few wanted Naglesman who was also available, Im 50/50 on this guy - if levy lets him get rid of all the shite and gets him who he wants and they buy into his idea then maybe finally we have turned a corner as a club and actually have a long term vision

Yeah. I watched a few of his interviews lately I can't help but like him, he's a good talker for sure and has a good energy about him.

Interviews would definitely be more refreshing than listening to our managers moan all the time about how miserable they are at Tottenham.

I fully get how your feeling but you need to step back a bit. 'So it was so it will be' this is called a logical fallacy . So he did bad in Europe with Celtic we can't beat the big teams now ...that does not follow. Pochettino Espanyol and Southampton no reason to think we can worry the big teams...I'm underwhelmed too but it's obvious the direction of travel under Conte, Jose, was not working. We need to try a less obvious prehaps more circuitous route, cull the squad go backwards if need be focus on youth. Pleat Jol Pochettino its the route that's worked best under Daniel Greedy.

Good thread, shows the challenges that he will face while still acknowledging that he is a good coach.

Also makes the prospect of selling Kane a lot easier to digest, since the money can be used to fix other areas and not just getting a replacement.
