I share your frustration. It does feel like we're stuck with them for eternity.

But I think now the genie is out the bottle the resentment will keep snowballing and it may reach a point where Levy decides to cash in :contepray:

And although I wish ill on nobody, Lewis surely won't cling on to the slippery pole of life too much longer

I genuinely believe that fans who hitherto now have always turned on the manager will finally start pointing their finger at the real problem contaminating our club. The one and only constant.

One thing I will say. I shudder to think how bad things would be if the whole fanbase was as subservient as the more extreme regime enthusiasts on here.
:mourshock:

It all depends on who takes over from Lewis as to what direction we go in. The club is sat as an asset in a family trust at the moment. It’s depressingly possible that it continues to be there for an untold amount of years. Until he dies and (if) we find out the intentions for it. He might want it sold or he might want to retain it in the family after he dies. It is a huge unknown

Hoping to keep it so his children can not bother to attend matches I presume

- We had a strong interest in Ange since last year, when it was clear that Conte was not a long term solution. Munn coming in and our summer game in Perth (AUS) not a coincidence. The Aussie agent (CAA Base) also got us Porro & Richalison. For this reason, we could be in pole position for Madison.

- We interviewed 6 coaches. (not Rogers).

- Nangelsman rejected by all members of the board in first round.

- Slot, Ange and Enrique were considered the best fit

- Slot gave us an ultimatum the day before Celtics last game. We had requested a further week so we could interview Ange. This was considered warning enough that we should back away. If he is going to try and hold the club hostage before he has even signed, what's he going to be like to work with?

- The club wants to 'earn' and not buy trophies. Big emphasis on getting a coach who will develop players from the academy.

We will spend £50m on a player, but generally speaking, we won't pay them £200k a week even if they're absolutely class and guaranteed to improve us.

Man United sign players like Varane and Cassemiero. Players at the height of football and they pay them what they're worth.
Man U are a far bigger club than Us that is why they can sign the top level names.

Few players are GUARANTEED to improve you.

They will also sign players like Maguire on 350k a week who they can't shift.
Or Sancho who has been worth nowhere near his fat pay cheque.
Journey still out on Anthony.1
You are just Cherry 🍒 picking.

Where is all this coming from?

In particular the Nagelsman rejection.

I think a lot of this is simply untrue.

I think it is a coincidence and perhaps it made the decision to appoint Ange an easier one

I don’t believe JN interviewed

What page of this thread are we on now... 1856...?

I'd give it 26 more pages and then just close the thread, wherever we are at in our discussions...

Just to prove a point!

I mean, everything that needs to be said has been said, so it’s a pretty good idea to stop us going around in circles every week. Not sure how a few posters would cope though!
This is not SC, threads shouldn't be closed just because people find them repetitive. Besides Levy's fuck ups are ongoing, so there will always be something to talk about.

Blimey you're having a laugh sunshine.
They ain't got a monkeys how to win trophies.
Cuckoo land treacle, they will just fuck it up as always.
"Earn" more like piss up the wall or another "Value project" for our dimwit little tyrant .
Stick a banana up you jacksee with that prime load of bollocks.

Fuck me if l've got a broom up my arse .
That "Aussie," connection is the envy of world football. Another masterstroke from Mr L . Hot bed of global dominance. Another tosser in that little "no chance with crumpet" Barnet free
tie me kangaroo down Munn.
We are so fucked that we are clutching straws my old mate .
We might as well got Rolf Harris for the good it's going to do us .

...mate, it was because 1856+26=1882
'do the maaaaath'!

I just thought it would be apt if we (as an online forum posters) had the self control to stop a thread ABOUT the so called mismanagement of our football club on a page number that was significant to our history... nothing more!

I know this thread will no doubt run it's course and outlive the sun ☀️, but I thought I'd had a bit of fun suggesting it!!

Apparently not. 🙄

No, they shouldn’t.

However as this is a ‘free-speech’ forum for the most part, people are as entitled to express their views that threads are becoming repetitive. They are. (But I understand why coz fuck Levy).

If you want to be a big club, you have to act big.

Our dipshit board can't keep acting small time and wondering why we never reach the big time.
And our fans need to STFU up about our dipshit board being better than United's because, and I quote "ENIC don't take anything out of the club"

Apart from the soul, hopes, dreams, aspirations, ambitions.

Who fucking cares if the glazers take cash out of United. They make a fuck ton and spend heavily on the team to win things still.

I'd swap our pathetic model of buying mid table players on low wages to have a flashy training ground and stadium, for their model of buying superstars and genuinely wanting to win the title every year rather than hoping to scrape into the top 4 occasionally to make some money to spend on another non football related venture that apparently helps the football team but doesn't.

I thought all this ENIC bollocks was tedious before but it's even beyond that already this summer!

Firstly, ENIC will go when ENIC want to go. No amount of protests or booing or whinging on here will change that.

Next, as with everything, this isn't black and white. The ENICOut lot aren't 100% right no matter how many times they repeat the same argument. It is definitely also the case that Levy cannot be 100% defended. Our owners have made same right fuck-ups.

Sane people can see that the truth lies somewhere in the middle though.

ENIC have done a lot of good for this football club - on and off the pitch. We've a lot to be proud of and some seasons have been bloody enjoyable to watch. But the footy is now regressing and are these the people to bring the improvements?

Haters will blame ENIC for Jose, Conte, etc. Terrible decisions but that's mostly in hindsight. Some doubted from the off yes, but when Jose was hired most saw it as a sign that we were now about winning something cos that's what Jose does. Most fancied Conte before the Nuno debacle, again cos he was a 'proven winner'.

This morning there's loads of back and fore in the transfer thread about how we don't pay the wages we need to. Except, in the same thread, people a bemoaning the fact we can't get rid of Ndombele because of his high wages!

Following from that, there's the 'Poch wasn't backed' cry that rears it's head all the time. 'Oh what could have been if we had backed Poch!'. Who was the manager when we signed Ndombele for a record fee with massive wages? And again, most of us were excited to get him.

I know this place is about debate but seeing the same people spout the same cherry-picked half truths in every single thread gets more boring than a night in the pub with me!
