There will be a rebuild certainly. I suspect Levy beat you to it with his end of season statement 'This has been an immensely difficult season. We made footballing decisions over recent seasons based on ambition and a desire to bring success to our Club and they have not delivered what we had hoped. Your frustration has been understandable and all of us at club have shared it.

Lots of fans delighted at the time that Ndombele, Lo Celso and others joined but when they don't perform it affects the season's playing results and means other clubs are not keen on them either which constrains our ability to offload them and re-invest
A rebuild built from straw not bricks and mortar.

Calm the fuck down. Raya will come eventually. We won’t start the season with Forster. Why shouldn’t Brentford try get top dollar for him. We would do the same with Kane. I don’t think we’ll pay £40 million. Probably more in the region of £30 million and then levy work his magic and we can pay it off over 30 years. 🤣

People melting down not realising pre season doesn't start for another month 😆

22 goal involvements in 50 games.
We could have done with a couple more players as terrible as him.
Firstly it’s not a great return for a player that plays that highly up the pitch. Less than 1 in 2 inclusive of assists, which are aided by him taking corners of course.

Secondly you should watch the games instead of looking purely at stats. Son was shit. Absolute shit last season.

I’ve not looked at any stats but I imagine his ball retention was as bad as anyone in the league, particularly retention under pressure. If people are watching Son last season and don’t think he was a problem then I don’t really know what to say to you…..

That level of performance is unsustainable for us.

How confident are you that Forster won't be in goal vs Brentford?

what you willing to bet?

Exactly this. At least they try and seize their opportunities when they are strong, the opposite of Levy who thought no signings for 18 months and a stellar P and L would lead us to the title
Seizing the opportunities, eh? If we did this y'all would be shouting we're penny-pinching. Woolwich, on the other hand, is showing ambition and seizing the opportunity. The state of some of our fans...

40 million is nothing in todays market. Allison cost Liverpool 70 million 5 years ago and look how that worked out. Good teams are built from the back.
Allison was one of the best keepers in the world, Raya is far from it.

FYI, 40m would make Raya the 3rd most expensive GK ever.

I don't mind Raya and would be happy to sign him, but not that bothered if we miss out either, as he isn't as great as most on here make out.
