Interested to see how Maddison fits into Postecoglou system.

I rate him but primarily in the no. 10. We are crying out for a lock picker and have been since Eriksen.

However, I don't see where he fits into Postecoglou's 433. He's not got the legs to plays as an 8.
His performances a very different playing for England and Leicester. Southgate shoves him out in a LW or RW position and he isn't as influential in the game compared to when he plays 10 for Leicester.

I don't know enough about Postecoglou, but is he willing to switch between a 433 to 4231?
He so fits a 433 he would be the furtherest forward in a mid field triangle with two hybrids 8s of benta and biss behind him

Until Bentancur comes back.

Sarr and Bissouma give you the legs for Porro to advance, Udogie inverts.

It could work ya know.

Obviously means Maddison and Tapsoba negotiations are off tomorrow...
Kulu , Kane, Son... oooff

im worried because i want good centre backs

but if we are getting maddison to get lenglet and ccv in then thats not good
We scored the 4th most goals last season, that's with Son and Kulu absolutely stinking up the place and with missing Bentancur for most of the season.

We can get by without Meddison, but elite CBs are a must, Kane almost kept us from a relegation scrap. Levy has to realize that.

exactly cam should be a luxury explored once we get our main cb's in

This is my thinking. Ange doesn't like his FBs to bomb up and down, so one of Emerson and Davies HAS to play. Emerson is better than Davies IMO and Davies was more of a "marauding CB" in Conte's team.

Skipp is IMO the best tackler and defensive screen we have, I'd have him as a more static out and out DM, sort of orbitting Bissouma to give him passing options and put in defensive legwork.

Biss would be more box to box, Maddison needs to be solo no10, because the space is needed for him and Kane to interchange positions in the build up. He could have a similar rotation with Kulu.
