This is my thinking. Ange doesn't like his FBs to bomb up and down, so one of Emerson and Davies HAS to play. Emerson is better than Davies IMO and Davies was more of a "marauding CB" in Conte's team.

Skipp is IMO the best tackler and defensive screen we have, I'd have him as a more static out and out DM, sort of orbitting Bissouma to give him passing options and put in defensive legwork.

Biss would be more box to box, Maddison needs to be solo no10, because the space is needed for him and Kane to interchange positions in the build up. He could have a similar rotation with Kulu.

£40M is about right for a player of his quality, with a year left on his contract.

I'd be very happy if this goes through. I don't necessarily think he's the dick he's made out to be. He said some nasty stuff about Kane a decade ago. A lot can change in a personality over that time.

Not that I care. I'm not really that interested in whether he's arrogant or not, I don't have to socialise with him.

But it appears that Kane bears no grudge, which would lead me to believe that Maddison has apologised at some stage. It's not really a stretch to conclude that he's done a bit of growing up.

So fingers crossed, as I think he'll make a big difference to how we perform.

I don’t think he’s arrogant. I think he’s a bit like Danny Rose and has a chip on his shoulder. He’s a confident chap too which I think makes him come across as a dick.

I'd say Porro at RW is a safer risk than Porro at RB.

I don't think how we line up is as important as attacking and defensive formation.

All the research i've done shows Ange attacking in a 2-3-5 formation. Defensively is looks like a 4-4-2.

I dunno what the starting formation will look like, but in a super high up tempo system, don't think you can rule out Ange liking Richarlison to lead the line.

Not sure Porro will be successful at RB for Spurs under Ange. He's only going to make it here as a winger, I feel and even then, he isn't the greatest dribbler. His strengths lay in his crossing.

It's a shame it's an obligation to buy

Ange is a risk on type of coach.

I don't know what position Porro will play, but 3 goals and 3 assists in 15 PL 2023 Spurs matches is dam productive. Maybe he won't be a trusted RB, but hopefully he can still be an attacking weapon.

What about Porro at RW is better than Kulu? Ok he's scored a few goals which is great for a WB, but by winger standards he's really nothing special. His main standout trait is the TAA-like long passes.

Still too early to say imo.

For a WB. I seem to recall quite a few wild shots into row z. Though, compared to Kulu, who is exceptionally shot shy and quite poor when he does try, Porro does seem the better option in that regard.
