Exactly!! He employs all these football experts but can't seem to refrian from meddling in transfers. Surely all he ought to be doing in that department is setting the limit of the budget.

Leicester would do well to attract harry winks tbh. We may take the piss, but for them he'd probably be one of the best Centre mids in that league.

Be interesting to see if Winks is willing to take the drop though

God help us if he's the best we can do.

He's too passive and simply refuses to engage in duels unless forced to. He'd be a woeful signing. I doubt I'd even take him over Lenglet if I'm honest with you. I don't want either.

Going from being linked to Tapsoba to ending up with Pau fucking Torres would be fucking depressing
 
Especially under Postecoglou Maddison would easily be one of our most creative and best players. And certainly add something different to our midfield.

This whole idea that we - you know, Tottenham Hotspur without even playing in Europe next season - could do much better is completely bollocks.

Home-grown as well.
