Tapsoba and Van De Ven (don't watch BuLi, simply judging them based on rumours) and this becomes a great window in terms of incomings. Add Alex Scott on top of that and this becomes a brilliant window.

Need to ruthlessly shift the deadwood now though.

Thought there wasn't any, thanks for confirming.
Do you think Conte was pleased with the transfer window? Are you incapable of making your own assumptions based on data points, or do you have to be told everything in very simple terms to form a view?

It was blatantly obvious he was pissed off all of last season, and an underwhelming window where he didn’t get his players is almost certainly one of the main reasons

For a man who usually doesn't mince his words he sure sounded happy here

Anyway enough of this Conte talk, it's done...Time to move on I reckon

I imagine two of his mates dying contributed to Contes mood. Not transfers, he most likely signed off on.

Assumptions is the keyword in your diatribe.

Here's my assumption ;

Conte was pissed off and tired due to travelling back forth from Italy as his family did not live in England.
Also his demeanor changed when his best friend, one of his coaches, died.
That had a huge effect on him and altered his whole outlook.

My assumption is just as likely as yours, but that's all it is. An assumption.

Unlike you, I do not present my assumptions as unassailable facts.

So you think he was happy with the window and the club signings the players got him? That’s ridiculous - it’s a combination of factors clearly but my take is the window was the material issue and the others stacked on top

It’s not an unassailable fact, it’s an informed opinion based on 23 years of not backing the manager.

Fine if he is a cheap spare but we need two half decent CB’s beyond.

Romero
Elite CB
Half decent up and coming CB
Lenglet

Have Royal and Davies as full backs who can provide CB backup in emergency.

Sell/move on Dier, Tanganga, Sanchez, Rodon,

Lenglet won't be cheap. He was on like 12mil a season at Barca. I don't see him take a 50% pay cut to join us...and even 5 or 6 mil a year for a player of his quality would still be too dear.

If we play 2 CB, Romero & new guy #1 are our starters. I'd rather give backup spots to Big Ben & new guy #2...or even Royal plus that Dorrington kid. Heck, I'd rather have Rodon as our 4th or 5th option than friggin Lenglet.

Let West Ham or Everton have him.

Nah mate, it's bollocks based on your hatred of Levy.
In your world, everything is Levy's fault.

Here's actual quotes from the man himself re our transfers.

Now you can come back with the usual rubbish of "well...erm...I....erm......oh yes.... HE'S BOUND TO SAY THAT ISN'T HE"

RE: Lenglet

Again, don't mind this but we need an two additionals.

I don't even think he's as bad as people are making out either - good defender on his day and a victim of the system/circumstance last season as opposed to showing his natural ability.
