Lavia is a strange one. When you watch him, he looks like he has all the physical attributes. But statistically, he looks pretty wank.

Obviously he was playing for Southampton so hard to judge. But I'd much rather move forward with letting Sarr develop.

Wouldn't want to completely pigeonhole him, he's physically extremely capable of defending well and should be expected to do it more consistently as time passes. Kinda like Spence in that regard. With Porro and Reguilon you just have an incapability to defend that would be difficult to reverse. Udogie has lots to clean up and improve on though, not just defending. Definitely need another option capable of being first choice if Udogie isn't doing it.

Lavia looks the real deal. Probably not a coincidence that he's rumoured to a lot of top clubs. He's a top prospect and I'd love to see him here. I do believe he's got a higher ceiling than someone like Caicedo

With regards to Sarr you could fiddle with him as an 8. At Metz he would often play as the most advanced 8 in a midfield 3. He's got lungs so let him do a bit of running

They fall over themselves to give them money. For ages some of them have wanted a system where A&C won’t ban them from the transfer thread if they make a donation - fucking idiots don’t realise that would just make it more appetising to A&C to ban more of them for the having the temerity to point out Herc doesn’t know what day of the week it is let alone who Spurs are signing.

I mean, he passes the eye test. But the underlying numbers aren't promising. In fact, they're dreadful.



I don't think he's anywhere near Caicedos level personally. I think if I wanted anyone from Southampton it'd be their young German centre back.
 


Kinda doubt this.. seems a very low release clause. This guy would be a pretty crazy cb signing, fairly sure he ends up at one of the top clubs in a year or so.
