With no Europe next season, ALL of our squad will be looking for assurances they will playing - and not just in the Milk cup.

Tanganga, Sessegnon, Royal, Porro are all at important moments of their careers. A year on the bench could resign them to a similar fate that saw Winks go from Champions League final to barely getting a chance to kick the ball.

Younger players like Udogie, Sarr, Spence, Skipp need significant game time to develop. 10 minutes from the bench every few weeks will simply not cut it.

Dier, Hojbjerg and Richarlison will want to be assured they are in the starting 11.

There were reports from reliable journalists from Newcastle that Maddison preferred Spurs, even before Newcastle bought Tonali.
We have been linked with Maddison for 8 years since his days at Coventry City as a fresh faced 18 year old getting a good run of games and showing his talents that early on along with Callum Wilson would've caught most of top tiers good sides to have a good scout tracking them.

Ali G said in his video last night that if Tapsoba was a reasonable price, they may go for VDV too…

I agree with your post
we have also got a bit of a strange/ weird situation going on with firstly the clubs who have players we are linked with signing:

Juventus - (Gleison Bremer)
Werder Bremen -(Mickey VDV)
Fulham -( Tosin Adarabioyo)

And players of ours who have been linked with other clubs:

Cristian Romero (Juventus)
PEH (Bayern Munich, Athletico Madrid)
Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)
Ryan Sessegnen (Fulham)
GLC (Barcelona, Villareal, Aston Villa,Real Betis,)

Looking at the data available id do player exchanges etc to get exactly what is needed to refresh the current squad and rebuild that Ange is starting to shape his way.

No disrespect to Kane because he is class but an £85 valuation i think is a fair value for a world class player with just 1 year left on there contract and im sure Bayern would pay that possibly through different routes there is a deal to be made whether that be 65 million cash plus Sadio Mane or Kingsley Coman or just a straight up 85 million cash deal then fairplay

Romero - i have no doubt this man will become one of the greatest cb's in this generation but he is not well suited to Pl football as he was nurtured in Italy and is far better suited to there dark arts style of play through teamwork and feigning constant time wasting style of play look to swap straight up for Gleison Bremer who is currently valued at (52.7 million euro)
Also we should use our excellent links with the old lady through (Paratici - Bentancur, Kulu deals) to stomp up 60 -65 million pounds to buy Dusan Vlahovic as Harry Kanes replacement maybe even add the likes of Reguillon or Ndombele into any potential deal to cut costs further everyone knows we were after Vlahovic whilst at Fiorentina and that because of FFP Juventus are open to listening to offers plus he is better suited to Premier league and not Allegri - ball which is the drivel he has to play under this season

straight swap sessegnon for Tosin Adarabioyo
. it just hasnt worked out for Ryan Sessegnen at the club through poor management, various injuries and niggles plus loans abroad he has had during his time here - Fulham still hold him in high esteem and a deal back to the Cottage seems like a great option for all parties if we receive Adarabioyo in exchange (probably seen as a great backup with Anges tactics Tapsoba and Mickey VDV if both are signed as is being quoted with all the heavy links)

Best post I’ve seen for a while and just my own thoughts.

Milk Cup, Jesus, have you been in a coma for well over 30 years ? 😂😂😂

Great opportunity to push out many of those players then:
Tangana
Spence
Royal
Sess
Dier
Hoj
Richy

See ya

Not sure why you would want to see Royal go. I expect he is going to excel in a back 4 and will be one of our best players next season.

If we opt for a smaller squad, possible that Tangaga could leave. But with Kane, Winks also linked to go, thats leaves us with only Austin and Skipp as our club trained players - that's rather embarrassing for a club with such incredible academy facilities

Sure makes me wonder if Walker Peters / Marcus Edwards will indeed be legitimate transfer targets.

Or, time to bring Dele home!
