Apparently his wages are 6.76 million, but I haven't worked out how much that is weekly.
£130,000 per week

I mean I watched every game and don’t recall him ever playing as any sort of inverted full back. He’s better deep, because he has no technical ability to impact the game in the final 3rd.Emersons best games for us last season were when he came central in the middle of the pitch.
If anything, he's best suited to being an inverted full back more than probably anyone in our squad.
Porro however, seems a disastrous fit. I've made my feelings clear of not wanting to go ahead with Porro permanently but looks like it's happening

Regardless, even if they were his best games, he just isn’t good enough for a top club.
This argument gives me flashbacks to last summer where Dier was good in a CB3 because he had a purple patch and we needed a LCB instead.
Dier is very very limited, so is Emerson. It absolutely cannot be our plan to play this guy as a starting RB next season, and to refer back to the original post I quoted - the prospect of him being “one of our best players” will only happen if we’re mid-table.
Yeah, No, Defntely.Wouldn't that have required Harry's brother to be able to read?

Haha, I'd forgotten how his head looks like its been permanently Photoshopped onto another body
Hope so
Nope. And I do believe that line is about Jan Vertonghen, not Harry Kane?!
Let's make a friendly bet then. If it transpires that the club had a one year option remaining in his contract, I pay £20 to a charity of your choice. If not, you do the same?
Maybe we won't find out the answer to that bet, but if we do...up for it?
Chew?Good.
Fuck Bayern. Arsehole arrogant wankers get their way all the time - they can chew on my sweaty nuts.
Nope.
I donate loads of goods and clothes to charity but not cash.
Yeek no wonder Palace don't want to offer him a new contract.
exactly. Also more post football gigs for the record scorer
I’ve read this a lot and I strongly strongly disagree.
He’s ok defensively, no quibble there. But the prospect of a player so limited technically as Royal playing as an inverted full back should frighten every Tottenham fan.
Do we really want him on the ball in the centre of the pitch? Give me a technician like Porro there all day, even if he isn’t perfect.
I don’t think we can assume any sort of system is going to make up for the lack of technical excellent that Royal has. This is a still a professional footballer who struggles to get the ball off the ground when crossing it.
As the receiver, I’d take either over chew
if he stays there's probably a route into that and an ambassador role waiting. He could conceivably have a stable 20 years ahead with us. Being a father there is a high possibility development of youth appeals to him.
Oooh a late night "we were/weren't Maddison's last resort" cunt off.
So, to recap, he is either stupid enough to prefer a mid table club to the richest club in the world and CL football or sad enough to only have us as an option....
