Oh Christ.

The Zaha speculation is back.

if he stays there's probably a route into that and an ambassador role waiting. He could conceivably have a stable 20 years ahead with us. Being a father there is a high possibility development of youth appeals to him.

Decent salary, life after playing, all near your home... what's not to like?
If they had any savvy, they would offer him a % stake in the company out of their own pocket. Give up some their equity or something

I would absolutely love to take Zaha on a free. I think he'll stay at his peak for a good few years yet
I was never keen when we were linked with big money bids for him, however on a free I wouldn't mind him coming in to fill out the squad, depends entirely on how obscene his wage/signing bonus demands are though, which I suppose depends on what competition there is for his signature...

how much have we spent?

kulusevski 25 ÷ 5years = 5m
vicario 17m ÷ 5 years = 3.4m
maddison 40m ÷ 5years = 8m
porro 45m ÷ 5years = 9m

so we've spent 25.4m so far x 5years = 127m

although these figures are plucked out of someones arse nal

I'd agree BUT his ego couldn't handle being a bit part.

With Liverpool signing Dominik there's some serious attacking units in the top 6 now, City, Liverpool, Spurs, Woolwich all gonna score a lot of goals next season
