Shit load?

What else needs to be done for you? If that got done

Still unconvinced about LB (mixed reports about Udogie, big TBD tag on him for me) and Kane & Son succession planning, as well as not rating Kulu nearly as much as you do or Richarlison. I'm not totally convinced by depth at CM either.

In terms of being a decent, well put together squad we're not far off. In terms of being a top 4 team with genuine top class, in its prime talent in numerous areas, we're miles off, even if those transfers get done. Especially if Kane walks out and Son continues decline.

If we don’t bite on Lenglet — and we shouldn’t
''Sport have revealed that Clement Lenglet has agreed on a three-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur ahead of a potential switch from Barcelona to the North London club.''

Might be bs ?

The Sport article is dated 27 June - 3 days ago.

IMO other journos would have picked up on this had there been legs to it.

Likely its just a 'space filler' article atm.

If this is the case then there’s no reason for Lenglet to do anything other than to stay put and wait for Barca to release him and get a sign on bonus from us.

Does anyone else feel like we need a Dembele-esque player for our midfield? Someone with a really strong physical presence, whose press-resistant and won't get muscled off the ball?

I know we're going to be set up to play attacking, possession-based football, but that's not to say teams still won't try to pack the midfield and press us.

Skipp, Sarr, Bissouma and Bentancur are all good players and not exactly pushovers, but I'd still feel more comfortable having a literal brick wall in the middle of the park...

Maybe it's just me. Maybe, I actually have very little clue what I'm talking about. I'll go back to lurking.
