Name a club not in Europe who have signed two centre backs (with our wage structure) for a combined 70m+ with one being a bench player?
It's not entirely common. I do think we should sign both. I think VDV being able to play left back helps and I think competition for places is good. But when we're not willing to offer wages that our rivals do, it's always going to be a hard sell.

Not saying we sign Lenglet, more an observation but during his time at Barca he would have been playing in a high line and probably has more experience doing that than sitting deep in a Conte 3 at back.

We should sell Kane because he won't sign a new contract or because he deserves to win something, or is there a mysterious other reason?
But we should sell him or risk losing him on a free?
And so I'm absolutely without doubt, does Kane deserve to win something with another club, more than we deserve to win something, accepting as it would logically be, that Kane wasn't part of any succeess?
