That's a cop out Richard. If you recognise that it is the board that are at fault, why take it out on the player?
Surely a grown adult is able to separate the two?
Ha good luck with that.

That's on the club.
The board created this environment, they need to own it and earn that positivity back from the fans.
Whilst I normally would agree with you, that Athletic article on VDV I will forgive as I don't subscribe to The Athletic and wouldn't have been able to read it otherwise.I'd like to propose that anyone who copy & pastes the full text of an article that results in a wall of text gets binned.

Offer him an investment with more secure upside. So, how do we get him to liquidate Tottenham to roll the dice on his other investments?

I'm not sure what your point here is Richard, it's either a cop out or it's not. People continuing to take their frustrations in the club out on a player, and using the "it's the club's fault, they made me feel this way" excuse, doesn't change the fact that it's a cop out. If you want the club to take ownership of the situation, which I agree they should, then you have to be prepared to take ownership of your own faults and failings.Does that change the fact that people will?
Should Davinson have got boos ?
Still happened.
Are the owners going anywhere? No
Are they still charging top whack for Season tickets?
I’m not going to take it out on VdV, would never boo Davinson. I’m not a season ticket holder either Ion
We attack your fan base every season gooner.Absolutely nailed it.
Its so predictable that some of the regime enthusiasts are already starting to hedge their bets and attack a massive section of our match going fanbase before the season has even started.

Who's ''Spider''?I've lived through the scapegoat reigns of Pratt, Galvin, Armstrong, Spider and many others,
John Lacy., I think. Center half signed from Fulham, I think, in the 70’s. Awkward looking fellow with long, thin limbs
Spoiler tag that shitWhilst I normally would agree with you, that Athletic article on VDV I will forgive as I don't subscribe to The Athletic and wouldn't have been able to read it otherwise.![]()
John Lacy
I think there’s a big difference between booing players that have been here and struggled for years compared to booing players who make a few mistakes in their first season here.Does that change the fact that people will?

Emerson was jeered quite earlyI think there’s a big difference between booing players that have been here and struggled for years compared to booing players who make a few mistakes in their first season here.
If we start booing players we just bought, we are fucked cause every player will make a few mistakes in their spurs career.
We shouldn’t be booing any players individually— unless they play for our opponents.I think there’s a big difference between booing players that have been here and struggled for years compared to booing players who make a few mistakes in their first season here.
I think they boo to try and get players substituted/dropped from future matches. Is somehow booing our own, by the same logic, going to somehow improve their game?

I wouldn't do it myself but people pay their money, so they can boo who they want I suppose.
