I don't think this is PR (not from the Club - as they are genuinely incapable of such influence - our PR is shite).
I do think however the balance of the articles towards VdV might be because he has a better story and is perhaps marginally less known. Tapspba kinda had his breakout season the season before and consequently, there were a fair number of articles on him this time last season???
I think both are very similar, with subtle differences, more than happy with either.
I reckon we get both eventually this window. I think the club will sign one pre tour and then really set about getting bodies out of the door and contracts terminated - I think we will move a sufficient enough amount that we can then bring the second player in. We will add a couple of mill to the friendly gate receipts from the Shakhtar game to a please them and that will be us done for the summer.
I think if the above happens, Tapsoba, VDV, Solomon plus Vicario and Maddison, and Kane stays, then that is about as good as we could have hoped for and we would have a very realistic shot at top 5 and a CL spot.

Morning everyone, here’s my video detailing all you need to know about Micky van de Ven in 3 minutes for those interested. Does he have glaring weaknesses to his game? Absolutely. Is he a dead cert to become a world beater? Not quite. However, there’s plenty to look about this fella and I’m pretty sure extensive scouting has been done if the club are willing to part ways with 30 million quid for him. I’d bet Tapsoba from Burkina Faso has a fucking mental story to get where he is but just has much less able agents working on his behalf
