Still think City with Rodri, Kovacic and Stones will be the best around with De Bruyne just ahead.

My worry is actually Liverpool. Last season their midfield turned to shit and got old like ours did with Pochettino, combined with Mane fucking off. However Klopp is pound for pound in my view the best manager in the league and maybe World. If Liverpool get Lavia along with their other signings their shit midfield is fixed and we are back to Liverpool of 2-3 years ago a relentless machine.
Or Mac Allister and Szobozlai become their Ndombele and Lo Celso...

:pochcmon:

he had real Mo's of real class. he really needed to play in a certain system where he could dictate the tempo of the game .and not be judged on assists or goals ..
Carroll and Winks were both Meh but because they were homegrown they got away with it - if they were buys from abroad they would have been jettisoned from Spurs very early. Winks weirdly played extremely well in the CL but I can’t remember more than a couple of decent performances in the Prem.

I hope Skipp kicks on, he has more than those 2 but needs to keep improving

They know what they are getting with Mac Allister, he is a sure thing. Sbozlai could very well flop like Thiago though.

That’s the one thing I have been pleased about with our summer business, we have bought a couple of Prem experienced players - Maddison is as close to a sure thing as it gets and Solomon has already shown he can cut it in this league.

.....Such was the frustration last season with Biss & Richy. The manager got mostly fuck all out of them.

He is a regular in a World Cup winning side. You don't have to rate him as much as others but I don't see how anyone can query whether he's a good player or not.
Not trying to say anyone who rates him is wrong. Just don’t rate him myself. And plenty of mediocre players have won trophies. He’s just never stood out for me any time I’ve seen him play. Not seen him in a huge number of full matches, so maybe I’m missing something. But presently, I’m not getting the hype.

Not the worse place to end your career. I think more and more players will go there as they get to the end of their careers.
America generally or Florida? :avbshit:

Foreign stars have generally not had the best taste in cities when coming to MLS. Except for Schweinsteiger and Shaqiri that is.

Though rumor has it Ronaldo was actually closer than anybody realized to choosing Kansas City of all places over Saudi Arabia.
