You made it sound like he was flailing around failing to get into our team......

There you go then (and did he not show he could "compete" away at AC Milan?).... So I really don't understand your prior comment in the case of either player.

It's simply not been as you implied.

Not really sure you understood what that conversation was about and we are now discussing 1 very small part on the conversation.

I like Udogie and Sarr.

Why do you rate Veiga and Van de Ven exactly?

Surely you must have some knowledge on these two players that makes you like them.

What is the reasoning behind you disagreeing with me and saying what I’m writing is utter nonsense? How can you know that?

I’ll comment on Vdv as that’s where my difference of opinion with you lies.

He’s excellent with the ball at his feet, and is a very aware player with good positional sense (probably needed if paired alongside Romero).

He’s also very quick and has plenty of agility - this would be very handy in Ange’s system.

He is great at playing out from the back. He also, unlike Romero, isn’t one for flying into tackles. Again, this would complement Romero.

He’s calm under pressure, doesn’t panic, and is good with possession.

Genuinely think he’d be a very good defender alongside Romero

I appreciate it would be a big leap for him coming to the PL but he’s young, and can be taught. Has a very high ceiling. There’s a reason he’s highly rated.

All that said, I absolutely think he’s a bit of a project atm. We should be buying him AND Tapsoba.

Edit: Whilst I don’t agree that you posting one or two videos amounts to 100% fact, I do agree VDV isn’t the best in the air (by a long way), but I think his other abilities would make him a great signing (for the future).

I was a bit of a dick to you to be honest, and I apologise. You’re one of the more rational and good posters on here.

So, no CBs before Shakhtar.

It's sabotage by neglect at this point.

Was honestly expecting this week to start some action but still thumbs up arse time.

If we had elections for the Chairman position, is there a Spurs fan in the world that would vote for Levy?

I understood fine.... The premise was why don't we make 'smart' deals for young players.... The counter argument was that we do and then you made the comment in question.

Just don't understand your comment about DU & PM-S nor agree with what it implied........ That you like them (which I don't doubt) makes it all the more odd.

I dunno why you bother replying to him
The goat fucker is a troll

Too cowardly to tag me, hey.

Don’t like my posts, put me on ignore. In fact, I genuinely (and normally I post pretty tongue in cheek) now, I’ve not seen one single intelligent, thought out post on here since you befouled this forum with your stink. So I’ll pop you on ignore and we can both wallow in our own shit.

Edit: Same goes for my stalker kingdawson kingdawson

That's good to know - although I'm a bit confused what that means
In the meantime Lukeba was "lost" to Leipzig

They don't want to sign anyone until some players leave and since the Maddsion splurge, can't sign a first 11 player until they have Kane money.

Levy is not worried by the talent that comes off the market and becomes unavailable whilst he resolves the Kane situation and any other outgoings.

It's always about his way or the highway and that includes any detriment to the quality of the football team.

Maybe easier to close this thread until deadline day.

Season starts next weekend.

Phew, what a pre-season this has been. 🔥

All the pieces slotting together, nicely. 👌

We all ready to go, yeah?!

What does everyone think - 4th... 3rd??

I'm a little nervous tbh

Worried that we might be just too good for the competition

It will get very boring watching us win 5 nil every week

I hope so.

We have waited until this season to find out.

I like both but when you weigh them against the long list of transfer fuck ups, you can't with a sane mind make a case for arguing we do smart transfer business.

Paratici brought a decent scouting operation in but we are objectively fucking awful at recruitment.

Brighton do smart business. Do we?

I forget how much PL time Scott has played?

You don't rate him?

That's fine. It was my opinion and I do, dudu! I do!

I know, but you called it smart business for a guy that hasn't played a second of PL football but seem reluctant to call Sarr (who actually has played in the PL) and Udogie smart business because they haven't shown whether they are smart business yet.

Either they are all smart business or none of them are!
