So the positives are some stats in some friendly games? :dembelelol::dembelelol::dembelelol:

If you can't see any I really can't help you at this stage...
Nah, I’m just asking you to tell me what positives you see.

I think there are positives around. The manager's approach is aligned with fan expectations. For the first time in awhile there's some young talent (Udogie and Saar) ready to push its way into the lineup. There will no doubt be some addition by subtraction from the roster soon. Romero, Kulusevski, and Betancur all probably have another level to move to. The goalie situation may be sorted out (although I'm not sure of that yet). It appears there is some semblance of a modern front office situation developing (although it looks top heavy and Levy is still too involved in football decisions). Maddison is a fine addition who can be a difference maker from Day 1. Right now we still have Kane and Son. And the recent history of league says that some of the top teams stumble every season, so it isn't out of the realm of possibility that the new guy could be as good as his adoring fans believe and Spurs could push close to, or into, the Championship. Lots of reasons to be positive.

I'm not sure pushing into the Championship can be seen as a positive mate...

I really didn't like the hire and I don't like all this "Big Ange" stuff, but I think Spurs should give him three seasons no matter what happens this season short of relegation (which won't happen). At some point you have to decide on a direction and stay with it long enough for it to work out or not. Credibility has to be reestablished, the fans need to be entertained, and the younger players have to be developed. Maybe things will come together sooner than later, but whether they do or not this business of starting and stopping and changing directions has to stop.
100%

The success (or not) of recent managers at Spurs can’t really be judged because they were dismissed so quickly.

Fingers crossed, Ange won’t be treated the same way.

This is simply unrealistic... No manager at any club gets a free pass for 3 years!
