Is Ndombele pound for pound the worst ever buy in the Premier League?

Probably was £65m which is almost like a £100m buy now. Was supposed to be the future of France, killed it in the CL and French League. Then took a contract with us and pretty much retired, he clearly only plays football for money and has little interest in it.

He can now retire to KFC and McDonald’s and live a life of burgers.

Anybody think what will happen to Scarlett if we get the gift in . Also think Sanchez will leave as said in summer he wants to play games now and few premier League clubs interested in him. He's one we might actually get decent money for also. I think most the deadwood will be on loan again can't see us getting much money for the rest nobody seems to want to take them at all. I mean the likes of Reggie and ndoumble.

Vicario just looks a bit chaotic at times, I think we should move Forster to number 3 and get a solid pair of hands as #2.
Whiteman injured anyway, so makes sense from a squad perspective too.
Yea that’s fair. I’ve actually got no clue how Vicario will turn out. I’m hardly knowledgeable about GKs but I’d imagine it be quite unlikely for him to have completely fluked last season, although his ball deflecting looks like it’ll cost us a few this season.

This has all happened in six months. They will have a clear strategy and objective, they aren’t just blindly spending with no goal. The CL makes sense

They have unlimited money - they will pay player £1M per week, the differential is so vast that they will go when they are in the CL. Might not be a bad thing for us as a club tbh
They'll be subject to FFP, though. They can't sustain this level of spending even under a modicum of FFP. No one gives a shit about the Saudi league for them to be able to have any kind of significant commercial revenue. The only workaround might be for some Saudi network to offer some crazy TV deal worth billions a year.

12 months ago, £60m for Vlahovic would have seemed like a bargain.

In times when Caidedo is going for £115m then it still seems like a decent price to me.
I don’t give a fuck the chavs are doing with their back door Saudi money.

You might be right about the price but..

We don’t have 60m to spend on a striker when we have more pressing places to spend limited funds

Vlahovic would come in and also get limited touches because that’s the role in this team and we would all be saying we spent 60m and he isn’t Kane
